Country Hills Golf Club
About
Located just 20 minutes north of Nashville, Country Hills Golf Club in Hendersonville is not only conveniently situated, it also offers a challenging round for golfers of all skill levels. The narrow fairways demand accuracy, especially on the front nine's tricky par 4s. The holes on the back nine are somewhat more open but those benefits are offset by a variety of well-placed hazards and hillier terrain that make it the more challenging of the two nines. Playing with someone who is familiar with the course or at least thoroughly studying the scorecard beforehand would be helpful. Golfers should brace themselves for the especially treacherous second and 15th holes. To prepare for this formidable test, golfers can warm-up on the large driving range and putting green.

Tough course, needs a little love
Course was in great shape besides a few holes. The 13th fairway is non-existent because of the neighborhood used it as a sledding hill. If you don't hug the trees to the right and hit it in the fairway, the ball rolls all the way to the base of the hill. Same goes for the approach shot to the green. Skipped the hole. BE AWARE!!
Country Hills review
Good layout, greens very fuzzy and fairways sparse. But that is all understandable given this time of year. I plan to play it again later in the year.
Country hills golf
Very good layout. Course was very wet due to 2 days of heavy rains. Greens were in great shape. Will definitely play again
Country Hills
Very hilly with sloped fairways and a lot of blind shots. Course was verry soggy after recent rains. Strong sewer odor around the clubhouse
Great experience!!.. would highly suggest this course!
A lot of blind shots off the tee and approaching the green but overall was impressed. Very nice course and would love to play there again sometime
Great Shape , Poor layout
Course was in good shape, Greens solid ,fairways solid, tee boxes needed mowing . The staff was really friendly... The layout was atrocious ?! Blind shots every hole, "tricked out" par 4's..only hit driver on one par 4 all day. Hard to get in any rhythm.
Room to improve
Challenging course nice appearance. From cart paths and often from fairways there is a lot of climbing either to the ball or back to the cart. Cart had a problem that staff indicated was not unusual. Greens had too many ball divots. Golf course needs to pay closer attention to golfers not repairing marks. No drink cart on a hot Saturday. Staff was friendly and snack bar was good. Not bad for the price but be aware there are some short comings.
Ups & Downs
In my game & in the layout - that is to say it is a very hilly course. I did enjoy the course & will be back.
Excellent!
Country Hills is in best condition of any courses we've played this year. Tee boxes were soft and had the usual wear, the fairways were lush, and the greens were beautiful with minimal weeds.
Great Value
We had a 11:30 am tee time and was paired with another single. Course was in good condition and the greens were good and somewhat fast. Nice course and the price was good through GolfPass. Will play again when in the area.
Ridiculous frisbee golfers
Bad things first - there were so many frisbee golfers on the course that were yelling, screaming and literally running around on the green and fairways while we were teeing up to the ball with complete disrespect for the golfers. Even saw 4 guys try to hit the flag on the green on a par 3 while I was literally about to hit my shot instead of going at their disc golf cage and laughing about it. Other than that, highly recommend this course because it’s challenging but forgiving off the tee. I will not be so nice to the frisbee players next time, I’m all about having fun but it was ridiculous at points.
Country course
Fairways rock hard. Many blind shots with significant fairway slope and roll. Many shots that i thought were safe ended in hazards. Green in good shape with multiple levels and break. Overall a frustrating round mainly due to not knowing what shot to play.
