In fairness to Bear Creek they had a big rain, over 2 inches, the night before we played. It was cart paths only, as it should have been. Virtually every bunker was completely full of water. We saw one guy working to drain them out all day. My biggest problem was the shape of the greens. They had recently been aerated and heavily sanded. That coupled with all the water made them virtually unputtable. In my opinion the course should have probably just been closed that day. Due to the weather and the greens, it wasn't much fun playing. I will go back but not until it dries out and the greens have healed. We wasted our money that day.
