The half way shack (after 9 holes, since the course does not come by the club house after 9 holes) for drinks, etc, was closed, probably due to lack of business, due to over priced green fees! The greens were pretty, but oh so slow!!!! What's up with no trash cans on the holes? The course could be so much better! Had it not been for Golf Now, we would have not been there!

Such a nice course, but it appears to me that nobody who works there, including the pro/pros, don't pay attention to detail. The tee box markers are ridiculous! You can't tell white from silver! We had one guy today who quit after 9 holes because his buddy said he played the wrong tees, which he did, but you couldn't tell one white tee from a silver tee! They need to be re-painted pronto!

Plus there are not enough trash cans on the course! And, it had not rained in days, but it was soggy!

I wish the golf carts had golf bag hoods for when it rains.

OMG. The beer went up 2 dollars per can. Unacceptable! Obviously, the new golf course restaurant manager doesn't understand. Bring the price back down or I will provide ..., okay, sorry, I'm mad. I will leave it at this, but if the price does not go back down, I will give other golf course choices nearby with better beer prices.

I was a single but all 4 tee times were filled. The other guy did not show up. The other two were ladies from Sweden and wanted to play alone, so that left me. I was going to go off behind the ladies, who were behind a 5-some. The golf pro in the clubhouse said he cautioned the 5-some to keep up. They were all under 25 and 2 girls. I watched them from the staging area and it took them 30 minutes to play the first hole. The point is, no 5-somes should be allowed on a day when all tee times were booked! To top it off, there was not a starter.

I don't see what all the hype is about this course, especially for what I paid for it. It's just pine trees and doglegs. I will never go back, and I live in the area and play all the Destin courses. It's not a pretty course at all.

Number 6 & 7 need to have the tall brush cut down considerably. If you had never played there before, you would be lost as to know how and where to hit it. #7 has woods to the left and water to the right, but you cannot see that at all from the blue tees. The golf carts need to have rain covers for the clubs. That's a very common thing now. There is only one water fountain (not cold) on each side, which is the same location. No cups or ice available on the course. There should be a water bucket set up every 2 or 3 holes, like most courses, especially for the price you have to pay to play there. The first cut of rough off the fairway is too high. Needs to be cut down half as high. You should not be penalized for missing the fairway by a foot.

No cups either to take some with you. Locals know this, but out of town guests suffer. It gets hot in PCB!

The tees boxes need to be marked with the yardage. The card has them marked, in very tiny print, by the way, but when you walk up to the tees, there are no yardage markers, so you have to guess exactly how long the hole is, which is lame.

Excellent course. Golfnow.com made it more affordable. Even the cost of a beer was not too high, as it is at a lot of the nicer courses.
