Played Heron - Ibis ... Course was in really good shape. Very few areas that were under repair. Maybe one small area on one green. The rough is the type where you can walk circles around your ball and not see it. Staff were all wearing masks except the starter (and most had mouth and nose covered...). Challenging course for me but overall great round.

I’ve been in a year or more but never fails. Especially for the cost. Did not fail today. Tees, fairways, roughs and greens all looked great. Little to no unplayable areas which is a lot in the middle of july when we get days of drought then torrential downpours. Started a little early (tee time at 1236), didn’t have to wait at all until the 13th or 14th hole. Great round,

I'll be honest, we got lucky. There was a shotgun tournament finishing up and we were the first group after the tourney. So we didn't run into another group the whole round. Played our pace and I assume it was a Cpts Choice tournament because they were good new golf balls all over the course (meaning folks didn't waste time looking for their ball). Course was in great condition, tees, fairways, rough, greens...all great. Only one hole I can think of on the back nine that had some area in need of repair, but not a big deal. I've played RR twice this season, been impressed both times, will definitely go back soon.

Walked 18 starting at 0715 in the morning. Played through one group which was a older foursome, probably play together each week; done in ~3 hours. Tee boxes, fairways, greens all in great condition. Short course (tips are ~6000-6100 yards). If you go too fair outside the fairway, the conditions are in bad shape (rocky, very sparse grass, etc). Greens were small, but flat and easy to read. No frills or fancy amenities, but for a cheap, easy round, I'll definitely play again.

I played earlier in the year and felt like the course was in a little better shape at that time. Not bad and didn't really negatively impact play, but the course was not as lush and green, a few spots on fairways or greens that had lost some of the grass. It is the middle of the summer and I mainly noticed it as I had played earlier this year. Also, hole locations were pretty tough. I think they had a tournament or something the day before, but a lot of holes cut on slopes or on break lines. Either way, can't complain too much about a beautiful Sunday on the golf course.

Great Round. Played Azalea, then Magnolia. Both courses were better than expected. Greens, fringe, fairway, rough all well kept. A couple tee boxes were not as great as all the others, but didn't effect the play. Azalea was in great condition. No issues at all. Magnolia was not quite as great but still in very good condition. Course is in a neighborhood so a fair amount of sharp "dogleg" holes but was very pleased. A few reviews from earlier this year weren't favorable but I didn't experience anything along those lines. Will definitely consider playing here again if back later in the year.

We played the morning after it rained all night. Course was a little soggy in places which was to be expected. They were also mowing and some of the grass clippings clumped together in fairways, but didn't significantly impact play. The course was in pretty good shape, not the best in charlotte but way better than this course was a few years ago. Give it a chance again. Greens in great shape, fairways and rough were mostly good as well. Some areas were a little dicey off the main playing areas, but as long as you hit it straight, you won't have any problems.

Course was in great shape; tee boxes, fairways, rough, fringe and green were all in great shape for a public course. No complaints about the course. There was a multi group corporate outing or something in front of us. It appeared to be captains choice, but there had to be some big money for the winners for how slow they were playing. PAINFUL. Five hours and we still had too cut a couple holes. Will definitely go back.

Always surprised by this place. Course was in great shape, fairways and greens in good condition. I can remember one hole (par 4, water all the way down the right hand side) where the fairway was in not great shape, but that's it. For <$45 on a weekday morning, all you can ask for. Clubhouse is a little dated, but only in there for a few minutes. Course is way better than I expect/hope for.

I've played Springfield many times. Course was in as good as shape as ever, one of the nicer public courses in CLT area in my opinion. Fairways great, greens, great. One or two bad patches in the fairways or green-side on one or two holes, but nothing significant. Will definitely play again this year!

Course was as good as I've ever seen it. Fairways, rough, fringe all in good condition with little to no "in repair" spots that impacted play. Greens were in good condition; more divots than desired but that is due to lazy players, not the course staff. New clubhouse is being built; have built a smaller, permanent clubhouse that will likely be used as a party/event space. The trailer that's been there for 4-5 years is gone! Overall, happy with course, would play again!
