One method for controlling Poa annua is by using a pre-emergent or post-emergent herbicide.

So much potential so little care. Greens are horrible. Tees are terrible. Fairways are serviceable. There are so many better options. Henderson, Crosswinds, Southbridge, Blackcreek, Sapelo Hammock just to name a few.
Be advised if you want to use the practice greens you must sign in. I was told they need to know who is there.? For a public course they sure are snooty.

I can’t recommend this course. It used to be in better shape and was affordable. They have raised there green fees and have lost 80% of the green surfaces. Putting through mud and fungus. Sad ☹️

Always a pleasure to play. Greens are in good shape. The abundance of rain has put the grounds crew in full mow mode. They working diligently to get the course in perfect condition. Tell them thanks when you see them.

Wonderful golf course with varied terrain. Staff members are the best. My absolute favorite course in the low country.

Black Creek is a wonderful test of golf. The course is well maintained. The abundant rain of late has caused bunkers to suffer but crew Works diligently to upgrade sand traps. Kudos to everyone at Blackcreek. You will not find a better golf value and experience in the low country.

Fairways and rough in good shape.
They are in the process of upgrading tees.
Improving the sand in bunkers also.
I always enjoy a round of golf at Crosswinds.
Thanks to the greens keeper and all the maintenance staff for providing a top notch golf course.

If you enjoy aircraft this is the course to play.

Henderson Golf course is improving its conditioning and play ability. i have always loved the layout.
It's always fun to have an opening par 5 and 18 is a beast
par 4. It reminds me of 18 at TPC Sawgrass. Water down the entire left side. The big difference is no bail out to the right. Lots of really good golf holes. Cost to fun ratio is off the charts.

Have played here over the course of 30 years.
New management has this Donald Ross gem
back in all its original glory. If you have never played it you won't be disappointed. Not a resort but golf as it was meant to be played.

Hit straight on 18 ! Water on the left the entire hole. Good challenge for any level golfer. Beginners should play the front tees.
