Mixed review unfortunately. First off, this is an awesome design by Jack, challenging yet fair. Great practice facilities, well laid out and easy to navigate around the property. Unfortunately, the pace of play was horrid, flat out pathetic. Should increase marshalling, for a premium course with a premium price @ $280 ISD shouldn’t have a pace of play of an overrun muni course. Would have loved this had the pace not been so horrid.

Great course aside from the bunkers, which are horrid. Could use better signage to get to the clubhouse. Great design and solid pace of play.

The course is in absolutely amazing condition right now. Fairways are near perfect, the greens are beautiful and rolling true. Hats off to the superintendent, usually in AZ you gotta pay $175 to $250 a round for greens like these.

Second year I’ve played this course and it’s incredible. Great practice facility, smooth carts, fairways l, greens and overall grooming of the course is amazing. Plenty of tee’s to test all skill levels, please play the appropriate tee’s to your skill level. Greens rolled true and pure. It’s worth the drive from Scottsdale and rivals courses that charge 4 times as much. Can’t wait to play it again!

Pretty straight forward course, what ya see is why ya get. Very open, very forgiving. For $75 it’s a good track in a central location, if it’s more than that, you’ll find better. Don’t get me wrong, as long as it’s priced accordingly it’s worth it. Greens roll very consistent, which is a huge plus! No warm up range, but again there’s good value as long as it’s priced right. Back nine is great.

Great design, amazing actually. The use of natural landscape is very unique and picturesque. Greens are great, rolled fast and true. Only downside is the fairways are very patchy, burnt on many holes. Everything else is great!

Every year we come down to golf in the Phoenix area for 3-4 weeks in April, this course is ALWAYS the #1 favourite. Played Monument today, it’s in absolutely fantastic condition, lush green fairways and second cut, very fast, true but receptive greens. Couldn’t ask for anything better, and of the 2 Troon Norths this is a challenging but fair track. Thanks again Troon North, very consistently in amazing condition!

IMO, this is the hidden gem located in North Scottsdale. Course is great shape, greens are fair and all rolled true and consistent. Very enjoyable yet challenging from the tips. Will definitely be back this trip and ever golf trip to Arizona.

Played the south course, which is now pronounced something I cannot say nor spell. Good track, not your typical “resort” course, far from infact, which is very enjoyable. Fairways are forgiving from the tips, greens are not “big”, bunkers are legit. The course is right there in front of you, no goofy and gimmick holes which I enjoyed. Greens are in great shape, good pace, tough to hold a poorly played shot which is fair. Would play again - in a perfect world more receptive greens would be appreciated, but again current conditions are fair.

Troon North is an experience, not just a round of golf. From the time you pull in, to the time you leave you are greeted and treated like royalty. You get what you pay for here, lush fairways, manicured greens and tee boxes, it plays hard but fair. A true players course from the tips. Amazing, thanks Troon North!!

This is a hidden gem of a course. Great layout and design, risk vs reward par 5’s are more than satisfying. Greens roll true and the course is in magnificent condition.

Great course design, lay out and risk-reward holes. Played 3/9/18, good overall condition, awesome pace of play. Warm up facilities are adequate, chipping green is very small and rocky, but other than that this course is worth the extra few minute drive. Fair off the tee, any average to better player will find a solid mix of shots to play and can get at the par 5’s with a little risk. Great track, play it every time I come down on golf trips.

From the moment we turned off of Camelback into the resort we had smiles ear to ear. The resort is beautiful, well laid out, manicured landscaping and ultra friendly staff. It was our first time playing here, and definitely not our last. We played Desert/Canyon 18, the course at this time of year is very green and lush, not burnt out at all. The design is challenging but playable and fair. I read some reviews of it being shorter, it may be, but this is a definite must play in the valley and did not play "short". The practice faculty is also in mint condition, again lush and the greens rolled true just as on the course. I can't say again how happy we are with the Phoenician and can't wait to play here again next time in town. Ps. Bring a camera or a good camera phone, amazing views from many tee boxes!!!

Played here 4/23/17, course was in good shape and the greens rolled perfect and true. Awesome layout/design, I enjoyed hitting a wide variety of clubs off the tee's, not hitting a driver on 14 holes. This track utilizes the natural rolling landscapes, which makes for challenging yet fair playability. Breathtaking views on many holes. Pace of play was absolutely perfect, the staff is very very friendly and accommodating. I've played many good courses in the valley, but this one is a must play. For $68 on GolfNow I feel that I owe them more money, best value I've had in golf. Thank you for an amazing day on a fantastic track!
