Nice shape, no sand in the traps which is typical or Brown.

Best condition of the Bluffton Brown group courses which isn't saying much still municipal golf course conditions. They seem to be letting go of the Bluffton courses and putting everything into the two Hilton Head courses.

Really shocked at how poor the condition of the fairways were. This used to be one of the premier off island courses in the low country. Greens and bunkers were in great shape but the fairways were a real mess. Maybe they are struggling post Mathew. Too bad. Sorry

Ok so a couple of greens have been sodded and the are keeping the grass on the greens long making them slow but, this place is moving up fast. We played the Crescent the day before and I never thought I'd say it but Rose Hill was in better shape. If this trend keeps up this will be one of Bluffton's top picks. Nice going Brown golf. Did I mention it was only 88.00 for a foursome with a cart?!

One of the best public play courses in our area. A real fun course.

If you book your Tee Time through Golf Now be prepared for the cold shoulder. It's almost like they are mad that you aren't paying full price. Well, something is better than nothing and you'll be getting nothing from my group again.

especially the greens. Free lunch is nice but needs to be quicker at the turn. Breezed through the front but had a three group back up at ten due to a slow process at Caddy's. Hey Caddy's, roller dogs are OK, a 10 minute wait for a hot dog is ridiculous. Golf course staff is terrific.

OK tree huggers don't get alarmed we have more than an ample amount of trees in HH. But there are four or five trees that have grown to the point that they are just in the way. You can't have trees in the middle of the fairway and have quick play. Prune them or cut them down. Thanks.

Wow, every time we go back the course looks better. Fairways were great all but 3 greens were in good condition free of disease spots. If they work on the "off the fairway issues" this course will be one of the better values in the low country.
