Bunkers ruin otherwise good course

There are many bunkers on this nice little executive course and unfortunately there is almost no sand. The bunkers also have rock and stones in them.

this would be a nice course if the fixed the bunkers.

Piaute

2nd time playing Sun. Beautiful course great condition, surrounded by the desert with distant views of mountains in all directions with no houses within miles. Greens were in very in very good condition and rolled true a bit on the fast side. Good time had by all in our group.

Course is a bit out of the way north of Las Vegas, but worth the trip.

Quit scalping the rough!

Nice course, fast greens. Played a few months back when the rough was a reasonable length, but now the rough is cut almost like a green. Why?!!! This is not the US open!!! I hit the best drive of my round straight up the middle of hole 9 and it rolled into the water on the left. The whole fairway slopes toward the left and with no grass rolling resistance it rolled into the lake. The same issue on the 8th par 3, ball trickles off the green and rolls into the water, Tin Cup style. Ruined my round!!!!!!! Ridiculously penal, only a masochists would enjoy the result.

Extemely fast greens, lots of bunkers

Challenging course, with hard, multilevel greens that are lightning fast and roll true. Good variety of holes that include forced carries over water and arroyos. There are some elevation changes and lots of bunkers everywhere. Beautiful scenery throughout the entire round. NEED NEW CARTS, as we had to wait for a cart upon arrival and needed a cart change twice during the round due to low battery.

Christmas weekend - very slow play

Course in good shape, greens are fairly fast and roll true. Rough is dried Bermuda that is like a sponge, difficult to play from. Unfortunately the round was very slow in excess of 5 hours and never saw a marshal the entire round.

Fast greens, keep ball in play

Good playing experience in general. Fast greens roll true, course in good shape. Keep balls in play! Plenty of desert waste land to quickly lose balls as the playing surfaces are generally elevated so shots just slightly off roll down into weeds and rocks. Long way from the strip!

Beautiful course away from Las Vegas spawl

Thoroughly enjoyed the round at the Snow course. Peaceful location, only desert and mountains surround this beautiful Pete Dye course. The greens have multiple grasses but rolled true and fast. Fairway wide enough to have a enjoyable time, but challenging approaches make you work for your score. Some very nice water holes. Course kept in very good condition. Can get windy but worth the trip just minutes north of Las Vegas.
