Aguila Golf Course
Played On 12/02/2016Great conditions/horrible pace
Fairways were a trifle thin in spots, but ok. Greens might not be as pretty as they could be, but fast and true (teed off at noon). Sand also good, especially for a muni. But the pace of play was abhorrent. Waited on every shot, and not just a minute or two. I had to quit after nine, as there was no rhythm what so ever. I should have expected it, teeing off when I did - I usually tee off in the first half hour, so that's on me. Great course tho, especially if a 4&1/2 hour round doesn't bother you. If it does, play elsewhere. Also, a LOT of walkers play this course
The Legacy Golf Club
Played On 8/30/2013Bumpy greens
Great fairways- greens still real bumpy from airification. Should be fine by mid/late September. Pace was slower than usual, but still like this course. When the greens are better, it will be a solid 4 stars.

Discovered this course about a month ago; incredible shape - fairways and greens. I keep wanting to play the other Sun City West courses, as the staff says they are all in great shape, but have played only this one the last 4 Saturdays :o) Oh, our pace of play was being first out, fyi. However, when we haven't been, it's been around 4 hours.
Union Hills Golf & Country Club
Played On 11/10/2012Good overseed, but....
Fairways in great shape. The sand needs work and the greens need to be cut - I know it's early after coming out of overseed, but the greens were extremely s l o w.....I did appreciate them being 90* instead of cart path only (horrid joints for a 50 year old). Union Hills c.c. is almost always a great value for the money. I will play here several times this winter/spring for that very reason. I have never run into "below average" conditions here. Look out for slow moving members though ;o) That can be a frustration.
