Sunridge Golf Club
Played On 02/17/2018Can't Believe it is February
Warm and Sunny Day with many players on the course.
Course is in great shape for winter and the variety of fairway layouts with changes in slopes make the course somewhat challenging. Hazards include water, mountainside, and brush.

Played On 12/29/2017Course Improving; Friendly staff
After a Spring flood, the course conditions have gradually improved. Still a few extra water hazards. Frozen turf presents some new challenges but today the warm temps thawed the top inch or two of turf. Fairways and greens have a surprising amount of green grass, but are very rough in places.
Staff are very friendly. Cafe serves lunches at a good value.

Fairways and greens in good condition for the season. Views of snow capped mountains and mid 50’s with a warm sun in the valley.

Played On 10/17/2017Flood Recovery
Course was still wet in many places but staff have selected 18 holes to play out of the 27. Conditions are much better than a few months ago.
Staff are friendly, restaurant serves good food at modest prices. Excellent value.
Ranch Course at Genoa Lakes Golf Club
Played On 05/31/2017Playing around the rain
Staff allowed us to delay our tee time due to rain and then we're accommodating when rain returned. The sun allowed us to enjoy the views over the valley during the back ( Upper) nine.

Played On 10/13/2016Windy Day
Not the best day for golfing with strong winds at mid day. But if you are willing to battle some wind, these three 9 hole courses are a great value. Green fairways are somewhat level and are framed by distant mountains. Today had several small wet spots but no pools on the fairways. Sand in traps is very hard so no raking needed. The carts are reliable but show their age. Pro shop and restaurant staff are always pleasant.
Sunridge Golf Club
Played On 09/05/2016Water and mountains
Lots of water in the valley with some high tee boxes hitting to lower greens in the mountains, especially with 14 open for play. Greens can be challenging and the green's grass can be in poor condition. Management can be stingy with carts and require strangers to ride together when adding individuals to a tee time.
The Hills Course at Red Hawk
Played On 04/20/2016Hills but not mountains
Great course. Need to allow several minutes to reach the tee box from the pro shop and extra time to find your way. Hill course was very green and not rocky like most mountain courses. Fairways were sometimes narrow but very good overall.
