Course was in very nice condition. However, as I heard from many friends who have played this course, take your insect repellant. Linden Hall Has Bugs, (LHHB)...

First time got to play Bedford Springs (B.S.). Very nice condition, both greens, fairways, and tee boxes.
Staff was friendly. Due to Covid did not stay for eats, drinks, as bar was closed.

Only item needs addressed were the unusual tee markers, that are in dire need of paint.

Got a "hot deal" so price was right. However half the greens were recently semi-aerated and covered with white sand. Don't think the pros would want to putt on them.
Did not see any "honey" bees but several dragon flies.

Played the round in less than 4 hours. Most of the holes are surrounded by townhouses and/or small homes.

Because of the unusual heavy rains it was cart path only. Had I not used a "hot deal" from golfnow I would have overpaid .
Some of the cart paths were actually FLOODED. Saw some staff using pumps to drain the sand traps ...and have to agree with other reviewer comments about the greens-bad shape. Like putting on your living carpet but worse.

I am sure most of the courses in Mrytle are "swamped" with water currently but if you like fast greens this course will disappoint you even in dry conditions. Read the reviews !!

Very nice shape, greens, fairways and layout . Staff friendly. Played the Hills Course in about 4 hours on a perfect sunny Saturday afternoon. Did not have the opportunity to play the Jones course but if it is anything like the Hills course , as Eddie Money would sing, " got two tickets to paradise" !

Course, including greens and tee boxes were in decent shape. Had cart path only because of rain the night before but play was fast. Use to hills, slopes, etc in Pa. So enjoyed playing a course without having to adjust for those type of shots. Used Golf Now and saved $$, but the person at the counter seemed to treat me as a second class citizen, knowing they were not earning any fees from my tee time.

Used Golf Now-"Hot Deal". Played 18 in 3 1/2 hours.
Greens were in nice shape, except a couple with minor issues. Fairways were ok but some of the deeper rough needed mowed. Staff friendly. Would play again using hot deal.

Course was in great shape. Some leaves but to be expected. Took an early (9:00)tee time and finished in about 3 hours.
Only one negative was on the back 9, one green near the pond/lake was covered with duck p...!

Somehow Golf Now has to tell customers that "this"
Hot Deal is because it was just aerated and their are no greens but sand...........................

With all the trees, one would think the staff would be blowing and sucking up the leaves this time of year-hardly.

Play was slow because too many golfers looking for their last ball. I didn't say lost, but last ball. REALLY.
One and done for this course for me.....

Unless it's free, go elsewhere. Had an 11:08 tee time, got to the 1st tee at 11:45. They OVER book. I have never had to wait A) For a cart and, B) 30+ minutes when having a tee time. The course had 2 fairways with water issues. Waited at least 10 minutes on each tee box. Finally left after 8 holes and I think it would have taken 8 hours to finish the round. I should have known when I had read some of the reviews stating the play was slow. Talked with a member playing a hole behind me and he indicated it was because 2 nearby courses were shut down. But this just confirms the fact that they overbook, hoping no one complains.

Sunday afternoon was a perfect time. Played 18 with my son in a little over 3 hours. Greens and fairways were in tip top shape. Price was right.
If you have not played this course add it to your want to list..

One last round before the winter blast arrives. The starter having a lot of groups at the first tee told us to go out the back. Perfect as no wait and we breezed around all 18. Aerated a few weeks back but to be expected. Not much problem with the leaves and the weather was gorgeous for November. Played Lakeside and want to go back another time for the other 18.

Price was excellent ($13.00) Golf Now,so cannot complain.
Greens were recently aerated and #18 needs some patch work from the aerator digging up chunks of the front-side of the green. Several holes had leave issues but this is to be expected this time of the year.
Only one other 3-some on the course-so we( two) finished in about 3+ hours. Took almost as long going and coming from the course than it took to play! .Have summer specials 4 for $100 and would not want to pay anymore than $25 for 18 . Neat course, and nice facilities.

Enjoyed the Fox and Otter. Tho couple holes we were held up by course maintenace, seeding and fertilizing.
This slowed the greens as they immediately watered the greens after fertilizing.
For the price, would play it again. Enjoyed the round.

Course, was in nice shape, especially the greens. For the price($12/person) could not beat the deal. The golf carts are vintage but get around decent on the rugged, dirt/gravel cart paths. The pro shop/rest rooms could use updated but sufficed.
Fleas/nats appeared on some holes?
Found it highly unusual to see only a few golfers on such a beautiful, sunny, afternoon.
Will go back at this price-you should too!!!

Had been many years since playing here. Unfortunately the road construction was not good and the GPS takes you opposite direction. The man in the Pro shop said you are the 7,000th to tell us the same thing.........................
Course was very nice for the price. Enjoyed the round and would go back if it was not for the construction on the roads to the course.

Because the other 9 holes were never finished you have to play the same holes twice. Unfortunately the cart paths are gravel and have lots of issues. It takes nearly 5 minutes to get to the tee box from the clubhouse. Most of the sand traps are washed out, but the greens, tee boxes and fairways are in decent condition.

Using golf now and getting a great price is the only way to play this course.

Course is nice shape, greens were fast. Leaves started to be an issue along with some extra high fairways.Tee boxes and fairways were recently airated.

Largest issue had to deal with were nats/bugs. Have been to the course previously and never had this issue. Asked one of the workers and said "they" were coming from the "river"? and "they" were suppose to spray. Should have stopped after 9 and asked for $ back, but tolerated the bugs to enjoy the weather and views.

Greens were in very nice condition as were most of the fairways .However the cart paths and rest rooms on course were in very poor condition.

Our 4-some tee'd off on time, however an outing in front of our group made play very slow.

Thankfully we used golf now to get a great deal, otherwise paying a higher price would not have been enjoyable. This course gives new meaning to "Country Club"............

Unfortunately had to deal with weather that was unexpected.
