The greens and collar and surrounding areas were soaked. The greens were in terrible shape. Dead spots, low spots and grass clumps. Also the greens had been painted to cover some of this up. Didn’t work.

Arizona National was in excellent shape for this time of year. The best I’ve seen so far. Challenging yet fun to play with amazing views of Tucson.

SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Club

Today was the first day the course has been open for four weeks due to overseeding the fairways and sanding the greens. Cart path only which made for a bit more walking than usual.

Very good medium difficulty golf course for amateurs but with just enough difficulty to keep the lower handicap golfers on their toes.
