A valley course in the middle of desert. You play around the cactus. Tee boxes are flat, fairways are undulating (for a flat course) and bunkers are deep and un forgiving. Greens ar me undulating and challenging.
We played during the over seeding season, so greens were a hit slow, but still got good value.
Love the layout, no two holes a like. Nothing unfair but still very challenging.
My test is “do I want to come back soon?”
After playing ? Yes I can’t wait to get back!

The pace of play was horrible. Teed off at 1 and could finish because of darkness.
The lay out is not like most desert courses. But I loved it. Short tight, and undulating greens.
The over seeding right now have the course wet and greens shaggy.
20 bucks to play it is hard to complain. This course could be very tough if it were firmer I will come back and try again

I played this course on beautful hot day.
I would give it 7 out of 10.
Course conditions were great. Tees were perfect, fairways were awesome and greens were good. A little inconsistent. Some greens ran at an 11 stimp others 7 or 8, but really not much to complain about. Overall, you will be hard pressed to find a better condition course. Similar to Wente or Poppy Ridge but 1/4 price. Course is well marked with distances on sprinkler heads for most of the holes.
On negatives:After playing 8 holes in about a small shot gun was put out in front of us, we replayed holes 8 and 9 twice but still ran into the shotgun on hole 11. It took another 2 1/2 hours to finish round.
There was no course layout on card, cart or tee box. So much to my suprise after o hit a couple tee sheets right of center but in fairway did I see there were hidden water hazards.
The last 7 holes there were either no yardage markers or they were wrong. Hole 13, my ball was almost on top of a sprinkler head which read 113. But I was about 60 yards ahead of the 150 marker. Etc

Over all I enjoyed the experience and will be back, but I will bring my sky caddie next time!!!

This course has everything. Length, difficulty and arguably the best greens in nor cal. The value is top notch. Fairways are a little spotty, the tee boxes can use some work, and the layout is ok. But I will come back again and again because of value and those greens!!!! Wow!!!!

I have played this course several times, but not in the past 5 years. I love this course. I love the layout. I even have my only hole in one on this course.
I arrived in time, staff was very nice but obviously under staffed. We teed off on time and enjoyed the first hole. We got to the second tee( par 4) and there was a group waiting to tee off. It took an hour and a half to play 4 holes. It did speed up from there because we finished front nine injust over 2.5 hours. A marshal teed us off, but never saw him again. I had to quit after 16 holes because i had an appointment. This was the 5 hour mark of the round. I am not sure if it was just one group slowing things down, but would have been nice to see one Marshall helping things out.
I understand we are in a drought, but the conditions were horrible. The tee boxes were about half grass. 10th fairway was only weeds! Only weeds! I don't mind hard packed ground or dead grass, but weeds?
The greens were riddled with ball marks. The greens had not been mowed in 2-3 days.
I understand the rates were cheap, but there must have been over 200 players this weekday. That should be enough to make sure people were happy.
Btw the practice facility was gone! It used to be off mats into a net, you don't need water to do that!
Unfortunatly I won't be back for a while. I love this course and would have paid double to play a much better course.
