Course has come waaaay back since i played here 4-5 years ago. Appears to have been heavily over seeded recently and they are watering it like crazy. Fairway grass was tall and greens were slow but in great condition.
When the maintenance crew cuts the grass and greens in the next week or two this course will be in AWESOME shape!

First time playing the international course at Omni. This course is PRISTINE. From tee to green it is absolutely beautiful. We had a steady 5-10 mph wind most of the day and the wind was either helping you or hurting you. Most holes it's in your face. They re-did the greens about a year ago with Bermuda and they are like glass. Hard as a rock, VERY fast on this day (probably a 12) but in absolutely PERFECT condition. This is a MUST play in central florida.

My ONLY gripe about my round is that my cart was horribly slow. Felt like there was a bad connection or a bad battery terminal that wasn't making solid contact and it would just putt along. I tried to change it out at the turn and the guys at the cart return weren't too thrilled since I played twilight hours and they probably didn't want to clean / roll another one out. So he put it in 'neutral' and pumped the gas a few times and said "That'll fix it" .. Well, it didn't and I dealt with a dud of a cart for the entire round. That's the reason It didn't get a 5 star on staff friendliness.

For the locals in Florida this course is really unique. You will not find slopes, mounds, undulation and rolling hills like this anywhere else in central florida. It is truly a unique golf course. Wide open fairways, very little water, lots of bunkers (It's a PB Dye, of course there are lots of bunkers) and line of sight issues off the tee. Several fairways are blind.

To score well here you have to be a precision ball striker or have a really solid short game. Greens are small, firm and elevated with LOTS of slope on most of them. Very difficult to stick greens. Challenging and Fun! Will def come back.

Only downside to the round.. Took 5 hours to complete because we weren't told that there was a tournament going off 15 minutes before our tee-time.. That made it for a VEEERY slow round.

Ventura is a short, ball strikers course. Par 3s are long from the tips (200+). Some of the Greens need work. SOme bare spots that they’re obviously working on. Most putts were no problem but a few had to roll through some rough patches. Leave your driver in the bag. Course is always busy burn pce of play was fine and we got out on time

Winding course through winter park, it’s a beauirful track. Redesign of the greens has made this challenging. No big hits necessary, all about position off the tee to get a good approach shot from the best possible angle. These greens roll true but there is an enormous amount of slope on them,.

This is one of my favorite courses in all of central Florida. Not long, but challenging. Winds are always swirling. The key here is fairways and greens. The greens are small, very fast and the grass is typically cut down around the greens so balls not positioned properly will have a tendency to wander off the green. Dubs never disappoints!

Two great links courses that you must play in central Florida. Black Bear north of Orlando and Saint Cloud Links south of Orlando. This is my second PB Dye course of the year, first one being in Honduras at the black pearl. This again, a challenging layout. Fortunately I stayed out of the bunkers all day but know that bunkers on this course are penalties and a big mistake if you end up in one. Tough greens to get one to stick. Lots of elevation change and rolling hills that you don't get on 90% of the courses in Florida.

Bogey golfer who plays once, sometimes twice a week. This course has always been one of my favorite central florida courses. Layout is challenging and unique. The course has had VAST improvements over the last 2 years. New sand in bunkers, new irrigation, greens are in great shape, brush and fairways have been cleaned up and widen. An absolute must play.

I golf once, sometimes twice a week in central florida. This course was very challenging from the elevation changes and fairway bunkers. The course was in great shape, greens were beautiful. Unfortunately, Roatan Island had 60 inches of rain in a single day the week prior so there were some very, very soggy spots. Without our caddie, we would have lost many balls due to plugging in the fairways.
Having the caddie along was fantastic, he was a great guy, knew the course and was very friendly. Well worth the money.
Bring extra golf balls and your camera. The scenery is beautiful and so is the golf!

Course is in good shape. Greens rolled true. Rough is fair but can really be a penalty. Would recommend ya play!

Old style pga tour course. Narrow fairways, blind shots, elevation changes that you normally don’t see in central Florida. Fantastic layout. Still has much clean up to be done from hurricane irma. #12 was very soggy, we chose not to play that particular fairway.
Needs to dry out some! But all in all we enjoyed ourselves

An excellent course in Central Florida. I've played 30+ courses in central florida and this is (to my knowledge) one of the only TRUE Links style courses in central Florida. The layout is excellent. From tee to green the course was in excellent shape. I would definitely play here again!

Played this course half a dozen times before. Always been challenging. Ruff is heavy but fair. Stay in the fairways and you're okay. Greens are smoked right now. They were aerated 4 weeks ago. Recently fertilized. It will be sometime before they come back fully.
Staff is always excellent. Range is near by. Club house has excellent food and a wide selection of beer, wine and liquor.

One of the best layouts in all of central Florida. Course is in great shape and by the beginning of November it will be in even better shape. Can't say enough good things about this place. You have to play here. DO IT!

Typical hot florida day with a 30 minute rain delay. Course is in really good shape for August. Some of the fairways have some burned up spots but for the most part the tees and the greens are in excellent condition. And shingle creek always does an excellent job with amenities including free valet w/ towel & bag service. Top notch place to play golf!

I'm a local Floridian that plays one to two times a week at wherever I can find a solid deal. (20-40 courses a year) and this is a must play. Great ameneties (including complimentary valet, cold towels & range balls). Greens were solid. Probably aerated 6-8 weeks ago and are rolling true that afternoon round. To my locals, be ready to pay resort prices for your brews and eats! We enjoyed it and would highly recommend that you play!!

If you don't mind playing on completely dead grass on all fairways and tee boxes then you're fine here. Grass is well cut it's just all dead. Staff tells me it's a fertilizer issue that hopefully will be flushed out in a couple weeks.

I reviewed this course 6 months ago and it was terrible. 6 months later it's in pretty awesome shape. 3 or 4 of the greens need some love. All of the brush has been cut back and mowed down. Many fairways have been opened and widened. Tee boxes have been redone and some repositioned. Fairways are in excellent shape. Overall, the new ownership has done an excellent job turning this course around in 6 months. Playing again on Saturday!

One of my personal favorite's in central florida. Been playing it all summer. 3 Fridays in a row now. Love the layout and has one of the prettiest par 3's in the area.

I've played this course twice this summer. Once in July and today (Sept 24th) . all of the tee boxes that were once under construction are completely finished and look fantastic. They have cut back all the brush and opened up the course more. The rough was all trimmed down and mowed. On this course, don't be too far off the fairways the rough is still deep heavy grass but you can find your ball.

The tee box markers do not match the colors that are on the scorecards. Be careful when looking at your distances. The first par 3 plays very very short.

Several of the greens still need quite a bit of work and have sandy spots and rough patches.

The fairways are in great shape. All in all Since integrity golf company has taken over the course has really really started to come around this summer. Excited to see what it looks like this winter!
