Have played here a few times and usually the pace of play is decent. The pace of play yesterday was awful. We ran into a foursome playing a scramble and you can imagine the delay. Knowing we were not going to be able to finish, we passed not one but 3 foursomes playing a scramble. We were pretty sure the pro shop was unaware of this and called them to report the slow play. We discovered there were others who reported the same. Nope, no ranger. These guys were having a party, playing music, etc.
If you want to play a six hour round, just get behind a few groups like this. Shameful. No ranger to speed them up or make them quit. Next time I'll demand a rain check or refund.
Ruining golf and this is one reason young folks are not getting into this game. Paying big bucks for a round of golf you cannot even finish. You course owners need to take pace of play seriously or suffer the consequences of SLOW play or NO play!!!
