Heron Creek, North Port Fl is a very nice course. Has a couple of challenging holes but fair over all.
Will consider a return play in the future.
Love seeing all the beautiful Sand Hill Cranes.
If in North Port people should try this course out.

Played here for the first time Sept.26 2017 almost 2 weeks after Hurricane Irma. The course was in excellent condition. No signs of Irma.
Course is very fair for all handicappers. Fairways are generous and water never comes into play unless you have a terrible hook or slice. We'll be back before our trip is over.

This course is fun. Nothing flat about it. Plenty of rolling hills. And the greens, well there not flat either. We said it was challenging for someone who never played it. A lot of hidden surprises around some shots. If you replay it you'll know where those surprises are and will be more prepared for it. But still will challenge you. Try it you'll love it if like to be challenged . Yes you have to remind yourself this is a PUBLIC course that's great fun to play on. Some private courses aren't this much fun.
