Chimera Golf Club
Played On 07/15/2021Great course!
Enjoyed my round at Chimera. Finished in 3 hours. Only 103 degrees which is reasonable in July. Friendly staff. Tee boxes and greens in good shape. Fun course to play. Highly recommended.
Chimera Golf Club
Played On 07/15/2021Great day. Great course.
Only 103 degrees. Teed off at 10:20 and finished in three hours. Played forward tees. Greens were spungy but true. Nice staff. Would definitely play there again. Sand traps and tee boxes in good shape.

Royal Vista Golf Club
Played On 12/22/2020Slow tired course
Played the East North courses at 12:45. Two fivesome groups in front of us. Course fairways are in bad shape. Dry or dead grass along with dirt patches. Even the golf cart ball washer had dirty water in it so my ball had chunks of dirt on it after I ‘washed’ it. Didn’t get 18 holes in before dark. Disappointing.

Played On 12/22/2020Expected More
Teed off at 12:30 but only played 15 holes due to pace of play. Two fivesomes in front of my group. Didn’t think that was allowed during Covid. Fairways were in terrible shape. Many patches of dead grass or just plain dirt. Even the ball washer on the cart had dirty water in it. Not a course for beginning golfers. Very hilly and uneven lies. Greens were is decent shape.
The Golf Club at Dove Mountain - Saguaro/Tortolita
Played On 11/11/2017Gorgeous Course
One of the top courses I’ve played in Arizona. Every hole had a spectacular view of the Arizona landscape. The course was difficult yet fair. Played 18 holes in less than 3.5 hours. Cart path only on one of the 9 hole courses but not a bad walk to the ball. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends. A true jewel in the desert.
TPC Scottsdale - The Champions Course
Played On 07/10/2017Great course but under repair
Got a good deal on GolfNow. Finished the round in less than three hours. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was very fair, but was in 'repair' mode. Fairways had several burn spots on nearly every hole. Several holes around the green had grass recently removed/replaced. Sand traps were in excellent condition. Greens were a little bumpy but overall in great shape in the summer heat. The biggest disappointment were the brown/burnt spots in the fairway. I'm sure this course is drop dead gorgeous in the winter/spring.
lukoachu,
Thanks for choosing to play TPC Scottsdale. Just to let you know, the good deals you see on GolfNow are the same deals you would see on our web site. But if you book with TPC Scottsdale directly you won't have to pay the booking fees GolfNow charges. Best rates are always on our web site.
The transition to Bermuda grasses took a little longer this year and we have had some challenges with the Champions fairways in certain areas. We are aerifying this week and replacing some of the sod. With the summer heat it's always more difficult to maintain conditions, which as you states, are best during the winter months.

The Legacy Golf Club
Played On 07/23/2016Needs attention
Sand traps were hard. Two traps I saw were actually flooded. Not sure how that happened when there hadn't been any rain lately. Tree trimmings, including large branches, had not been removed from the course and were left on the side of fairways. Green fees were good but I've played other courses in the area for the same price where conditions were much better.
I'm one of their cardholders and know these guys well. They were hit by a microburst that knocked down over 50 trees and washed out a number of traps on the 19th...which was pretty easy to see. The trees alone will take weeks to clean up, and they are busting there butts to get it done while keeping the place in great shape...I'd have to disagree with you here...place is looking awesome.
Camelback Golf Club - Ambiente Course
Played On 07/22/2016Great day!
Course conditions were fantastic. Kudos to course management as the fairways and greens were the best I've seen this summer. Played 18 in less than four hours. A very hot day but water was readily available and the Marshall even provided cold towels with eucalyptus scent! Staff was very courteous and helpful. A great day!!
Monument at Troon North Golf Club
Played On 07/21/2016Beautiful course
I enjoyed my round on the Monument course. Great design with a variety of elevation levels. A little short (5000 yards) for me but 6000 yards would've been too long. A tee box in between would be a nice option. The greens have some type of fungus but the ball rolled well anyway. Employees were friendly and helpful. The scenery was outstanding.
Legend Trail Golf Club
Played On 07/19/2016Day at Legend Trail
Very nice course, even in July. Some bare spots on the fairway, but it's to be expected in 110 degree heat. Course was challenging. Had to play smart to stay out of trouble. A bad shot = a lost ball. No GPS system and few fairway distance markers which cost me a couple of strokes. No water at the first water jug, but was able to fill up at the driving range. Employee at the bag drop didn't load up my clubs on the cart, which was strange. Just left them next to the cart. Overall a good day of golf. Great price for a very nice course.
Palm at McCormick Ranch Golf Club
Played On 07/15/2016Water!
Great water holes. Challenging course that made you think. Tough greens but definitely gave opportunities to score. The downside was no drinking water was available in the course until the 16th hole. Water was warm too. Management should provide water every three holes, especially in July.
Destroyer at Seal Beach Navy Golf Course
Played On 12/31/2015Poor communication
I checked in and paid green fees 20 minutes before tee time with my two golf partners. When we went to the starter he informed us that there was an hour delay due to a frost warning. This was NOT communicated in the pro shop. My group chose to not play and was given a refund. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism by the staff. AND I am out $7.47 from the Golfnow online fee....
lukoachu,
We do apologize about the communication error. We will look into this matter. Please come back soon and give us a chance to give you a better experience.

Oak Creek Golf Club
Played On 12/25/2012Nice layout. Lots of natural habitat that outlines the course. Very enjoyable course
Played on Christmas. Not overly crowded but had to wait on a half dozen holes for group in front. Fairways aren't as green as they would be in summer. Greens were beat up quite a bit, due to discourteous players not fixing ball marks. Duck droppings on a couple greens made it difficult to putt! Very creative course with lots of bends and twists. Tricky greens made putting fair, but challenging.
Didn't like having to pay $12 for a bag of 55 practice balls. $16 for a burger and fries was overpriced as well. Got a $79 rate on the internet which is a good price for this course, especially in the winter.
Mission Hills - Gary Player Course
Played On 11/13/2012Beautiful course
Great day of golf, even though the course really challenged my skills. The course won this time. Greens are quick. Rarely an easy putt is taken. Steep sand traps. Course is in great condition. Lots of fun!
