pretty standard fairway's a lot of weeds this time of year, bunkers need sand and work due to heavy rains--very light play today--rest. was closed.Boy ,dry fairway's seem like a thing of the past,but some of us still remember when the ball ran out.....

took a newbee out that just finished 20 lessons--selected Ventura due to its overall conditions,sand in bunkers,grass in fairway's ,you know "the little things".the rain hit on the 12 hole,newbee left,the 2 old guy's waited 15 min. and finished out the round Many course rankings are a little on the high side'this one at 4 to 5 stars is well earned.ENJOY!!

tees were in good shape,fairways most fast and hard ,greens hard making for difficult approaches and quick putts.will play again

Fairways hard and fast,make my drives look like they were 15 years ago"long",greens were in good shape and holding lightly sanded.tee time 11:28 course.not very busy .Snack bar ,good food good service nice employee.

most tee boxes in poor shape however since I tee the ball up ,not a biggie.Fairways really need work playable if you don't mind rolling the ball over,very fast.Traps were in good shape ,ample sand and raked.Greens overall are the bright spot ,real nice speed and condition,bare spot s on fringes.Checked in 5 minutes before a group of 15 were to tee-off and 30 min.before my sch.tee time was told to go ahead of them ,oh yeah I'm a single....

the course keeps getting better for faster play many area's were balls got lost are being cleared,sand in bunkers ,very soft and fine.greens are in great shape and running.Removing the trap from in front of the green on #6 GREAT!!

greens in good shape, bunkers were also in nice shape and had sand in lieu of dirt--a nice change from some other courses;fairways and tee's not so good now that rye is gone.we were able to tee off early ---unlike some other courses,common sense is a good thing

course is heading in the right direction-its nice to see work being done.the greens are much improved ;just slow and fairways are showing grass may not sound like much but compared to the last 5 years a good sign

course actually sets up as 2 different looks--front is wide open off most tee's and plays counter clock-wise around the water;however water not really a issue on most holes.2nd side is tighter and tree lined with more elevation changes,and plays clock-wise between 2 ponds but water only effects the 18th.Fairways are ok cut tight -not much rough.Bunkers had good sand and were maintained;greens overall in good shape some sanding on edges.Was very happy with course and would play again.

fairways were being worked on but did not affect play--greens are in great shape;some tricky pin locations--ball can really sit down in thick but not long rough.course played a little slow ;could be due to a senior tourney.

a smile and good morning at check-in with a offer to tie into the lunch special (does not happen with golf now tee times at other courses.)yardage books were free since cart gps shows yardages to green-front-middle -back only.Tee box's in good shape,grass in fairways,raked sand in bunkers,and a rough were the ball sits down.The starter told us the pin location and checked on speed of play twice on the front.prior to our making the turn the starter put a foursome off #10 and caught us to let us know he instructed them to let us thru(we were a twosome)he checked twice on the back 9.Oh yeah,this course had heavy rain the night before but the greens(some are very deep)had great coverage but were a little slow. Nice practice area.

this course has come a long way in 2 months.fairways are in very good condition,aerasion really helped.bunkers had sand and were raked--still need added sand for greater playability.

can see where improvements are being made ---ex.clearing out areas of heavy rough on hole #2,3,4 etc.but poor greens and bunkers are the problem area's.Did like that fairway's have some height to grass,so ball sits up

some deceiving holes with the elevation changes.nice fairways.rough is a couple inches deep and the ball goes to the bottom.bunkers well maintained.course in nice shape with club championship in 2 days

working on course but does not impede play --greens were aerated but ball rolled well with little bounce.fairways have good grass so ball sits up.stay out of pot bunkers they have some tough lies.always enjoy this course.
