Eagle's Pointe Golf Club
Played On 09/25/2017Slipping
I generally play this course on every visit to HH. It may be that the hurricane Emma caused the damage, but the greens are in bad shape and invaded by some sort of leafy grass. Many sand traps were pure mud and unplayable. I'll play here again, but not until the staff has time to repair the course. Hopefully a few months of maintenance will bring the course back to standards.
Preserve Golf Course
Played On 02/27/2016Wonderful course
Always a great day at the Preserve. Greens could have been a bit faster, but overall the course was in very good condition.
The Club at Starr Pass - Rattler/Coyote
Played On 02/24/2016Better hit the Fairway
No level lies to be found. You must stay in the fairways and be able to play in rolling (uneven) terrain. Bring a camera and lots of extra balls.
El Conquistador Golf & Tennis - Conquistador Course
Played On 11/11/2015Great for November
Restricted to cart path only due to over-seeding. Not a major problem, but I wish GolfNow had a way to notify those conditions. Course was in good shape, greens fast, fairways excellent.
Galleon/Brigantine at Shipyard Golf Club
Played On 10/08/2015Very crowded day
Waited on every tee and every fairway. Must either Marshall better or spread the tee times.
SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Club
Played On 05/02/2015Good Day
Course required some maintenance on the bunkers and fairways were dry. Practice facilities were closed due to construction in the area.
The Golf Club at Dove Mountain - Saguaro/Tortolita
Played On 10/29/2014Superb
Course was just opened from overseeding...and it still played great. Staff was very helpful, conditions were great. We used a golf now coupon and enjoyed a super day at an excellent rate. Best course we have played in the Tucson area.
Bluffs/Peaks Golf Course at Boulder Pointe Golf Club
Played On 09/22/2014Bring extra balls
Beautiful and challenging layout. Played after a heavy
rain, but course drained well and greens were in great shape...only one or two wet holes.
Golf Club at Vistoso
Played On 04/21/2014Bring a straight game
You have to have a straight game & 200 yd carry for this desert course. Target golf at its best. Big greens and very well kept. We rented a condo on the 17th green and watched dozens of golfers try to hit this 200 yard par3. About one in five hit the green; the rest played out of the cactus. Played 4 times this week. Each time was great.
