The first tee was closed so the par 4 played only 220 yards. Then, when we got to hole 9, which was a par 5, they had a teebox at 90 yards because they were doing tile work in the fairway. Pace of play on the back 9 was 3 hours. When I called the clubhouse, they sent out a ranger who said "It's not common for it to slow down on the back 9." When we got to where we could see holes in front of us, there were 3 empty holes in front of the slow group. What did we pay greens fees for if they weren't going to manage their course?

Played this with a couple of locals who had never played here before. We all loved the course layout! Pins were in some tough places but there was a tournament earlier in the day so that was understandable.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful golf courses I've ever played and we loved the tee markers with the stories behind the name of each hole.

Played it for the first time today. Both my partner and I agreed that the course has a great layout but the state of disrepair does not match the cost for a round.

Pretty wide open. Bunkers were dry, firm, and could use a good power rake to loosen the sand underneath. Decent course.

Flat course with lots of room to spray the ball. Round took 4.75 hours. No ranger. Greens were already dried out and sandy. Great clubhouse and restuarant. Nice practice area. Not worth the $70/person rate.

Played this course in 2004 when it was still private. New owners have done a great job improving the layout, building a great clubhouse, and expanding the practice area. A must play course if you're in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

Not a bad course but nothing really stood out for us.

The greens on this course are nuts! Small targets, false fronts, crazy pin locations. Tee to green was fun, but around the greens was a crazy test. Good place to play!

If this is your first time playing course make sure you try to get paired with someone that knows the course layout. There's quite a few forced layups and no hole pictures on the scorecard or tee box markers. Ask Norb to tell you a joke if he's the starter that day.

I understand that this has been a wet spring but if you are going to charge full price on the weekend I feel like there's a level of expectation around course conditions that weren't met when my wife and I played there.

The weather was great, the course was good, the staff was a big miss. Nobody wanted anything to do with you unless you were buying something and even then they acted like you were bothering them. I won't be going back unless it's with a big group and I get out voted.

The course was fun to play and the layout was very intriguing. They were fertilizing so the smell was bad. Not sure what they were using but that's as bad as I've ever experienced in 20 years of golfing. Had a great time talking to Tom after the round!

Bones are great with a fantastic layout. Course is under construction and will be fantastic when everything is complete!
