I played Lone Tree on a couple days ago there was a pga skills assessment even so the green were super fast(i loved it) so when i went to foothills the transition was difficult. I played in afternoon also but the greens were super slow. i could not get the ball to the hole on chips or putts. That coupled with how hard the greens were made for a tough round. I hit the ball high and I landed in the middle of several greens and ended over the green. The greens were not holding. Granted the winds dried everything out but this time of year the greens shouldnt be that hard. They are watering them like they should. Its ashame but ireally liked the course layout its well bunkered, elevated greens etc. Its ashame the greens to match the rest of the courses quality. I will play again when not windy to see if it was just the conditions yesterday. If the green would hold it would be a nice place to play and if they would speed uop greens.

Starter told us we were the first two twosomes off caught twosome and foursome on second hole. Cart path only but fairways were so long you had to get out of cart and find your ball then walk back to cart. Greens were so slow it was a waste of time putting them. It wasnt the tee boxes were like hitting out of 3 inch rough. I cant believe this course was opened for play its the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen. We only played 14 holes.

Ahwatukee cc is nothing special. Driving range is horrible, almost a 5 hour round on a
noon tee off time. The greens were ok but the rough off the fairways were essentially dirt and this is not a desert course. I would go back even for the 15 dollars I paid
