Old Brickyard Golf Course
Played On 09/24/2021Great Rebound
We played the Brickyard earlier this year. The course was in poor condition. - victim of the hard cold and ice of winter. In talking to the office, we told them that we didn't think the course could recover. They told us that they were starting the rebuilding of the tee boxes and greens the following week.
We were amazed at the conditions of the course today. There were almost no signs that Old Man Winter ever threw his worst at it. While the weather has been dry in North Texas this Summer, you would never know it looking at the course.

The Courses at Watters Creek - Traditions Course
Played On 03/01/2020Survived the winter as a star
Your average player doesn't understand how difficult it is to maintain a course during a North Texas winter.. That don't understand the amount of work and water so it recovers in the Spring.
The staff at Watters have done a fantastic job of keeping the Traditions Course very playable.

$25.00 rate for the over 60 year old crowd is great. The staff went overboard to accomodate anytrnig we needed.

We were able to get a tee time for mid-afternoon on Easter. SUrprised how the course was in such great condition. very Nice
The Links at Lakehouse
Played On 02/14/2017Great course - Not easy to walk when wet.
The course is well layed out. Apparently it had been closed due to excessive rains. In spite of tremendous rainfall it was in excellent condition. Unfortunately for us it was 'cart path only' play on very, very wet grass.
Looking forward to returning when conditions are little more dryer.
Rhodes Ranch Country Club

When we arrived the course fairways and greens looked a picture. The course had recently stopped all play to allow for reseeding of the entire course - gorgeous.
That wasn't the best part. The entire staff acted like my wife and I were the people they had been. waiting for all day. Very , very accommodating
Would recommend this course to all golfers of any level.

Fred Enke Golf Course
Played On 02/09/2015Excellent Greens; glue down your dentures
The greens were very good as well as the tee boxes. However, the cart paths were only suggestions as to where they would put cart paths if they were to have them - very, very rough. The fairways were similar to what we have in Texas in the muni courses. The fairways could be better marked as we had a tough time knowing which direction to hit our balls. The fairways looked like the rough on some holes.
I would like to see the course when the weather had allowed it to flourish.
Country View Golf Club
Played On 4/28/2012One of Dallas' best secrets
A short drive South of downtown Dallas will give you an experience difficult to find in North Texas. The fairways at Country View are nicer than those of Dallas' most exclusive country clubs. Actually, they are better than the greens of most Dallas golf courses. The greens are well maintained though just getting re-establish after the winter seasons.
Country View offers a challenge no matter what level your skills are. Many greens are elevated,; missing them will penalize you.
Very much recommend this hidden star.
