We played bent tree in a 15 to 25 mile an hour breeze. It was a good challenge from the white tees for all handicaps. The Tiff eagle greens that they installed a few years ago are starting to become mildly inundated by Zoeshia and Bermuda but otherwise they're still rolling well. A little more attention to detail could make this course four star but that'll be a commitment the staff will have to make. While waiting for the fairway to clear on number seven take a moment to drive down the fairway and pick a landing spot as this short par four can be an easy hole when the correct Club is chosen for the T-shot, otherwise it can be a nightmare.

If you work at a golf course and someone asks which tees they should play from, don't immediately tell them to move up to the Sr. tees. Please be kind to us older relatively decent players and ask about handicap, distance, accuracy. It's not that much fun to drive 6 par 4's with a 3 wood or less. Otherwise the staff was nice, the greens were good. The fairways could have been in better shape. This course needs a little attention to detail. Pace of play would have been fine had ranger been present, we finally found the culprits and asked them to keep up with the group ahead, 5 holes ahead! Not suggested for long young hitters, hot suggested for sprayers.

Heron Creek was in such bad condition last year that I only played there twice. This year I was delighted to play on new greens that were fast and true. The practice area as always was great affording the player to face away from the sun no matter the skill they are trying to perfect. Thanks to a great staff, shout out to Kyle. I'll be back!

Horribly atrocious pace of play, haven't seen a Ranger in 9 holes, five hole space four groups ahead of us. Please be advised unless you like ridiculously slow play don't play here, not even worth the afternoon discount, we got 9 holes in just over 3 hours. I thought the Troon courses were better than this.
