I live in Raleigh and played with a buddy from Kernersville. It's a perfect 1/2 way spot for us. The course plays well and was in good shape. The greens were true for the most part, and in good shape. If you like placement golf, this is a good one. We played the whites, which we realized after we started that they were moved up quite a bit, so I recommend asking the actual yardages before you tee off, and the same time the attendant tells you the pin placement. Amenities were mostly closed, so no rating there. I would gladly come back.

Played 2 days after a big rain. Had 7am tee time, and left the course before getting to the turn. So many mosquitos, I couldn't concentrate on the game. Kept applying bug spray on about every hole as well as spraying down the cart. Needed to keep moving to keep them from attacking. Not an enjoyable experience. The overall course was still very wet. The greens were the best part of the round, and as good as I've seen on any course. It's a shame, because the course seems like a decent challenge, and one where some shot making would be well rewarded. I might try it again in the colder weather, but can't recommend based on my experience.

Good layout. Nice mix of shot making and grip it n rip it holes. Fairways in nice shape. I'd definitely go back.

The layout is decent, but fairways were spotty and in need of weed treatment. Greens are new Bermuda and still coming off winter. I'd compare the overall experience more to a muni than a semi-private club.
