Course is in great shape and requires thought to get ball close to pins

Have played this course over the past 10 years and it is in the best shape I have ever seen it. Fairways were generous and very lush. Greens appear to be large however as like other Nicklaus designs, you need to determine what section the pin is in and then try to get it there. Some severe slopes and small landing areas on greens and mishits or misjudging distances typically results in your ball in a sand trap or in a drain-off collection area. Very smooth greens to putt on seemed to be true. Great experience and beautiful 18 holes of golf which I highly recommend.

Beautiful challenging holes

Played the black tees the first day at about 6500 yards and some very difficult pin placements but a great track. Played the white the next day and don't need a driver on many holes but greens are well protected by bunkers or water and short game is crucial. Saw turkeys, vultures, aligators, egrets, ducks, herons, squirrels and lots of other birds so enjoyed the trip through nature. Excellent driving range, short game practice area and putting green.
