The course was in good condition except for the bunkers. Sand isn’t that expensive! There was almost no sand in them and more rocks than sand.

While we were stuck behind a mini scramble which made pace SUPER slow, the layout of this short course is nice and the greens are quick.

I was amazed and sad to see what has happened to the Mission / Presidio courses. I heard they were sold to build condos in the future but it's like they've given up on maintaining it. 30% of th course is bare with no grass. The greens were fantastic but the rest (Tee boxes and Fairways) are NOT worth a $60 round of golf. Too bad....

If you're not in the fairway, you may as well drop another ball. The fairways are blown free of leaves but they blow them into the rough (where most of us play).

A Beautiful Fall day could only be marred by a bad score. NONE of our group (2-14 Hcp) could score. The greens were Lightning fast. The 2nd hole green had 13 puts on it!! We all had to laugh as the uphill put l either came up just and inch or so short from going in and rolled back to 7-8'. Other than the speed of the greens, we enjoyed our round as the leaves were minimal and the rest of the course was in great shape on a 70 degree day in November.

Not in anywhere near as good of shape as the White course. Bunkers (severely compacted) in terrible shape.

The course was in GREAT shape and the greens were rolling fast. and true They did a good job of keeping leaves off the fairway and rough but if you went into the trees, it was impossible to find your ball due to the leaves that were blown in those areas.

I was excited to play here after reading the reviews. That didn't last long. Maybe it was because I played Old Corkscrew the day before (for the same rate). I would not pay the rate again.

I've played here 5-6 times but non this year. It was 87 degrees Humid and Sunny. NOT ONE water jug on the course. NOT 1 bev cart on the course. The carpet the installed on the stairs years ago is a trip hazard. Greens in bad shape from a lot of play and no reseeding. Woman in bar was MIA, when I walked in the back to find her, she immediately said "go wait for me out front. No "Hi" no "Thank you". I'll be desperate to play here again.

While this course is rated as over 4 stars, I was truly disappointed to find more of a 2-2/12 stars. Greens were chewed up and the rough was a short as most muny's fairways. Old course layout could be very nice if the spent a little more on maintenance/seed etc.

The course is ok (as long as you understand this place was built long ago and not challenging by today's standards). The clubhouse was in the worst condition I have ever seen. It's like they just stopped maintaining it. The floors are like a roller coaster, carpet smells and it would have been better finding a tree somewhere. It's too bad that they have stopped putting money into that important part of the course. However, the greens and tee boxes are in good condition, the rest of the course is o k.

Beautiful course. Designed for a fun round. The only complaint I had is the directions to the golf shop are non-existent. We had to go into the hotel to find out how to get there . Overall, we had a good time.

I played both courses last year and forgot how much fun and how beautiful it is. The layout is rewarding and the greens are fabulous. We played the 9 hole short course for $10 then went to the big course after lunch. Our only complaint is the woman behind the counter was rude when we tried to shock in for the big course 15 min earlier than she thought was acceptable. If she gets a customer service lesson, it's a full 10.
