Considering the rains we've had, HEAT, this course was in good condition. The crews were out working to catch up after the rain. Greens were slow but expected so considering. But greens were in very good condition.

Lot of rain recently, coming off the winter. Conditions were not the best but the layout shows a good course.

Nothing over the top but was well worth the cost to play this location.

The Adobe was like playing the same hole over and over. No character.
Good condition and easy walking course.

The course has a few challenges. All but 2 holes you can see what you are hitting into. My first time here so played into the unknown. Greens were receptive, rolled well considering the moisture / light rain.
Outside the fairway it was more like a city course, rough, not as well maintained.
The staff said this was better than Las Sendas next door. Not a chance. But it was priced ok for being a lessor course.
Basis other courses in the area and their rates, this is a $70 prime season rate course. My opinion only.

Really enjoy this course. Not too difficult. Weather was cooler but very comfortable. Met some great people from St Louis. The staff as always is friendly and informative.
The driving range and warm up area are great, though I don't enjoy hitting from mats. That day we did.
Frost delay that day but did a great job of informing everyone as soon as can, and worked to fill some gaps to catch up.

The starter was very friendly.
Pace of play was very good considering the second group out in front of us was a fivesome.
The course outside the fairways is in very rough shape. Yes it has been very dry which did not help.
But what the course itself can control, it did not. The greens were in only ok shape except all the bird, duck, goose poop everywhere.
Many parts the course you had to figure out where to walk to not walk in the poop. Several of the greens were filthy with goose poop. I would not play here again until they figure out how to control that or at least put an effort into cleaning and off throughout the day. Most bunkers do not have rakes. But it is a hazard so take it for what it’s worth.

If you read the many reviews you can see a lot of emotion in the writing. Here is the bottom line truth.
The staff was friendly, you get back how you treat them. If you read reviews about staff being jerks, maybe look in the mirror first.
Probably the most hated thing about this course, you NEVER tee off at your tee time. You book a tee time and they squeeze in the many members or locals and push you back. I've played here 4 times over the years and it's always the same. Plan for it, or at least expect it. Maybe this is the real reason people get upset?
The greens were in good to very good shape. The rest of the course is beat up a bit outside the fairways, typical to many courses in the valley.
If you get a fair price, it's worth playing. I wouldn't pay up for it for two reasons. Long way out from Phoenix, so plan on a drive if you go out here. And the wait after YOUR scheduled tee time. It will happen. With all the jamming in of players, pace of play gets hurt a bit as well. Plan on 5 to 5 1/2 hours from YOUR scheduled tee time to finish. Fairly common here.

Bit on pricey side. It is Scottsdale, but it is still a round of golf.

Pace of play overall was ok. Very slow until you get past the 2nd downhill par 3.

Course is public friendly. Has some challenges but you don't need to be perfect all the time. Tree areas are clear and playable.
Pace of play was SLOW for 9 holes. Avoid playing behind the womens league.
First time there.
Cost is on the high side. Could make it more affordable. A bit out of the way but would drive it again.
