Very nice layout, agree w other reviews - great kept secret N Mi course - not many people on course, great layout, narrow, well maintained; only issue might be - greens a bit slow compared w say Boyne courses, Gaylord CC, and Little Traverse Bay.

Beautiful course, fairways, layout (although we could not find 17), very narrow, lots of trees; bring a lot of balls and hit em straight!

Absolutely gorgeous golf course, with the best views in northern Michigan. Perfect conditions on a beautifully perfect day. Despite the difficulty of the greens ("always rolls towards the bay" - unfortunately you can't always see the bay!:), I can't imagine a more beautiful setting in which to spend 4 hours of my weekend time! Enjoy!!!!!

Immaculate is the term that comes to mind with this Northern Michigan hidden gem that not too many people seem to know about. No one in front of us and no one behind on a nice Sunday afternoon. Fairways and greens are in perfect, beautiful condition, as always. Very playable; fair greens, with some quite challenging holes. 1 of my very favorite courses!

Very narrow fairways! Lots of doglegs. Lots of woods and trees. Did I say narrow fairways? Lost lots of balls. Very flat. Greens are flat and true, but extrememly difficult course. Hit em straight!

Beautiful course. Challenging but not overwhenlming. Wider fairways than The Lakes, and prettier. Only issue was slow play. Definitely recommend.

Well when we played it was very slow so we only played the front 9 - twice, rather than follow the slow goups ahead of us to the back. So, never got to see all the lakes the course is known for, as they'r eon the back. No water to drink, no starter / anyone to speed things up, and not as pretty as I expected. Overall, disappointing...

2nd time I've played here. Absolutely beautiful couse! Immaculate fairways, gorgeous greens, beautiful old - growth trees. Fair course. Greens very fast. Great value for money and one of the nicest courses I've played in northern Michigan! Rarely that busy either. Pace of play excellent even when we did catch up with some people. 5 stars for sure!

Great couse, nice fairways and greens, well laid out, well marked, lots of trees but not like a lot of N Mi courses where every hole extremely narrow. Only lost a couple of balls and I'm a bogie golfer. Greens very true, medium speed and well kept. Enjoy!
