Pace of play was extremely slow. Marshall did nothing to encourage threesome in front to play quicker. Group directly in front of us had a cart that died. No one from Pro shop came with another cart. Gentleman had to crowd into the cart with two of his mates.
Course needed work Some tee boxes were bare. Fairways rough in spots. Management did oversees a few days earlier Cart path only. There are mounds along cart path. Very difficult to see where ball was to get accurate reading of yard remaining. Bunkers line almost every hole.

Lely Golf Course have two courses. Both are in fantastic condition. Flamingo corse is the shorter of the two but that doesn’t mean it isn’t challenging. Pin placement and bunkers make the wide open corse a challenge for even the better players. We enjoyed playing there and will return next year

This course is in great condition for being in Southwest Florida. We’ve had rain every day. Stag was friendly and helpful

While the course was in great condition, it felt like we played the same hole over and over again. The back nine provided some change. Beverage cart was fully stocked.

The fairways are in great shaped. However the greens were horrible. I know they were aerated the end of May but there was hardly any grass on any of the greens. Made putting difficult Perhaps offer a discount when greens are messed up. Won’t golf there until greens are restored.

The ball traveled well on the ground because of the firmness. Greens were not green; some actually didn't have any grass. Reason we played because we got a good deal from golf now.com. Will not go back.

We have found our new favorite course while vacationing in Florida. The courses wide fairways are forgiving. Even in rainy Florida this course was in great shape. Lots of water hence the reference in the name but didn't interfere with play. Many birds and other wildlife abound. Bald eagles not seen in summer
