Peacock Gap Golf Club
Played On 12/26/2020It’s been awhile ...
Been a few years since I’ve played at Peacock Gap. I was able to get a late tee time at a good price knowing that I probably wouldn’t be able to get a whole round in. The pace of play was fair and as I expected, ran out of light on the 15th green. (A shame since I was looking forward to the 16th par 3 over water). Only issue I had was with some new golfers that didn’t know proper etiquette. Hit a couple of balls right at us without calling out “fore” (one time while we weren’t even on the green on a par 3). Course conditions were fine (wet #11 fairway that was cart path only, but wasn’t marked off as such. A warning popped up on the cart, but after one of us had already drove onto it). I will definitely comeback if I can find another deal at an earlier time.
Rancho Solano Golf Course
Played On 12/11/2020As usual, Rancho Solano comes through.
Never seem to not enjoy my time on this course. Conditions weren’t the best I’ve ever seen on the course, but better than a lot that I have played on recently.
Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - East
Played On 11/27/2020Nice courses and good value.
I play Blue Rock about 4 times a year and always enjoy the courses. Not that either course is hard, but the East one is probably alittle more forgiving (mostly due to the 13-14 holes that aren’t part of the original 18 holes). Regardless I enjoy both courses and would recommend them to anybody.
Foxtail Golf Club - North Course
Played On 11/25/2020Very nice course, better than the Southside.
Course is in good shape. I don’t recall any brown dried up areas that seem to be popping up on a lot of courses. Pace of play could have been alittle better.
Brentwood Golf Club - Creekside/Hillside Course
Played On 11/23/2020Another course in need of water
Just like most courses I’ve played recently a lot of dry dead spots on and around the fairways. The greens weren’t bad though. Sadly they were enforcing cart paths only since they are trying to seed to course and there was no mention of that while booking my tee time.

Paradise Valley Golf Course
Played On 10/19/2020Good time on a nice course
Nice staff and decent conditions on the course. The greens were punched around 2 weeks ago, but for the most part no issues.
Lake Chabot Golf Course - The 18 Hole Course
Played On 10/16/2020Nothing special, currently dry like a lot of courses
A lot of up and down holes. Courses needs more water but so do most courses.

Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course
Played On 06/12/2015First time playing Hidden Valley Lakes
Layout is fine, had some fun holes and had a few plain holes. Greens were some of the slowest I have played this year by a wide margin. Overall cost probably more than I would expect to play for such a course. Would I play it again ... yes, if the greens were made faster and the green fees were to drop $10.
