Del Monte™ Golf Course
Played On 12/14/2016Relaxing Course
Not the most challenging course, and not particularly long even from the tips, but overall a fun course. The greens had just been sanded, and it had rained earlier so the greens were very soft and receptive, but also led to them being a little bumpy in places. The fairways were in great shape, and the rough for the most part was lush and a beast! Seriously, was deep in most places. Bunkers were in great condition even with it having rained. Also on the good news was that I didn't see any "burned out" areas, especially on the par 3s. Rough was a little sparse in a few places, but not in a way that really impacted play. I'd probably play again, but only if I got a hot deal. Also, remember, there is only a putting green and a small chipping area, no range.
Coyote Creek Golf Club - The Tournament Course
Played On 11/11/2016Good course but...
A couple of things about the Tournament Course. I prefer to walk a course, and was not allowed to here. The Valley Course allows walking apparently, but not Tournament due to its layout and spacing. The course itself was in good shape, and definitely appreciated that the bunkers were well taken care of. The major downside of this course for me is that a lot of holes are either next to or in sight of the freeway, not exactly making for a peaceful/quiet round. If you don't mind that, I'd say take a shot here.
Black Horse at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course
Played On 08/02/2016Fun course
Fun course with excellent views of the bay on some holes. Narrow fairways mean being accurate off the tee is a must. They had aerated the greens a few weeks ago, but other than being sandy they rolled fast and true. My one issue was the bunkers. If you were in the middle where they were groomed, they were great; however, if you were around the edges, it was like hitting off hard pan. Also wish they had more yardage markers as I had to guess distance on many shots. Overall though excellent round and would play again..
Marlton Golf Club
Played On 06/10/2016Solid Course
Solid, not extremely challenging course where you should definitely shoot your handicap. For the most part the fairways and greens were in good condition, but the tee boxes and bunkers were very uneven in their conditions. It is a shorter course, and after hitting a couple of good drives OB into the woods I mainly used irons off the tee to lay-up distances. The pro-shop is under construction, and currently shares space with the restaurant, so very limited inventory of things to buy. Staff overall was friendly and accomodating.
Westfields Golf Club
Played On 08/08/2015Come play here
The price for the round was up there for a public course, but you definitely got what you paid for. The cost included limitless range balls and a cart, so really it was a good value. All the staff were super friendly and attentive, and they were great about getting you out and letting you know about everything going on with the course. Plenty of staff going around keeping up the pace of play. Definitely could've finished the round in under 4 hrs under optimal conditions. Greens ran true, and for the most part the fairways and rough were in good condition. Would play here again.
Wigwam Resort - Gold Course
Played On 3/23/2013Long but beautiful course
Lush green fairways lined with pine, lots of water for an AZ course, but overall, one you should be able to play your handicap on. Fun course, pace of play was good, club house staff were super friendly, and the course itself was in great condition.
Thanks for the feedback! We will take it into consideration as we are constantly working on improving the conditions of our course. Hope to have you back again soon!
