The greens and most recently, the tees have been aerified so keep that in mind if that bothers you. We always play automatic 2-putt on aerified greens. Otherwise the course is in good shape although the day I played, the pace was slow- 4 hours 15 minutes. All in all, good value for the money.

Good course to play in terms of condition, layout, pace of play and amenities. The only complaint is in condition of the tees which need serious renovation.

Course was in great shape, nice layout, some up hill, downhill and doglegs. Green speed was around 10 - not slow, not fast. Didn’t get in any bunkers but the looked ok. Well worth the price

I paid $52 on Golf Now and that was too much for this course, imo. Greens were slow and patchy and the layout of the course is a bit quirky. Tbh, I probably wouldn’t play here again.

The course is in good shape and with a GolfNow hot deal, it’s worth it.

The course is not country club conditions but it’s getting better due to improvements. It’s also priced fairly, friendly staff and pace of play was great!

I’ve played this course around 10 times and it’s never been in this poor condition. Pace of play was slow, no ranger, the bunkers haven’t been power raked in ages, the fairways are extremely thin and the greens are very slow. It’ll be awhile till I go back.

I was supposed to play the course last Thursday and pre-paid my green fees with Golf Now about 5 days beforehand. I got a Covid shot on Tuesday and by Thursday I was still unable to raise my arm so I called the pro shop and asked for a rain check due to my inability to swing a club but they refused. They were glad to take my money and I got nothing in return; crooks. I’ll never play this course.

The dry winter has had an effect on the course. It’s not bad, it’s just not great and probably not worth the premium price they charge. The driving range had practically no grass; they should have been using the mats. The fairways are a bit thin and for the price they charge, should be over seeded with rye. The greens were running slow as well. All in all, it’s not bad, but it’s not great either.

This is a great golf course; great condition and what a wonderful design for the average golfer. The tees, fairways and greens are spectacular and there’s room off the tee to spray a little bit without worrying about hitting a house. Don’t get me wrong, you can still find a watery grave with really errant tee shots but all in all, one of the fairest courses I have played in the area. Kudos to the designer for his work in not designing a tight course suitable only for Tour players. I’m actually thinking about joining this club.

The pace was a little slow - 4 1.2 hours - but otherwise a good day. The course is in good shape.

The course is in much better shape than 2 months ago. They replaced one of the pumps, overseeded the tees and the greens are coming around. Fairways are still thin so you’ll need to play winter rules. All in all, good course to practice on for now but if they keep maintaining it, it could be really good since it’s a very user-friendly course (wide fairways) right in the heart of Port Charlotte. Keep up the good work!

Always good and the big gators were out sunning themselves today
