Crooked Cat at Orange County National
Played On 04/16/2022Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were running slow, and rough was non-existent. Biggest complaint was pace of play….almost 5.5 hours for our round. That’s a little brutal.
Waldorf Astoria Golf Club
Played On 09/07/2020Nice course but pace of play was abysmal
Overall, the course was in great shape. Greens recovering nicely and the fairways were great aside from a few wet ones, but that’s not their fault. Pace of play was absolutely unacceptable though. 10 minute wait on tee boxes. 5 hour round. Not something you expect at a course like the Waldorf. Staff is awesome though, so I’m sure I’ll give it another try.

Played On 07/29/2020Nice Conditions
Course is in great shape. Greens still not back to 100% from being punched, but overall the course was fantastic. We’ll be back for sure.
Eagle Creek Golf Club
Played On 07/15/2020Course looks great!
Lots of rain lately so we had to play cart path only, but the fairways and tee boxes were immaculate. Rough was also in great shape. Greens haven’t made it back to 100% yet, but they’re getting there. Over all I was super pleased with course conditions.

Played On 06/09/2020Great conditions all things considered
Greens are recovering from being punched, and the course has been slammed with rain over the last couple of weeks. With that in mind, it’s about as good as it can be right now. Staff was awesome as always. Looking forward to playing again after the course has had a chance to recover from the torrential rains.

Played On 03/29/2020Sad Conditions
So sad to see what this place has become. I played on a $39 deal and felt completely ripped off. I could have played in a cow pasture and had better conditions. Greens were probably the worst I've ever played on, and that includes lots of muni courses from back in my younger days. Tee boxes were bare and hard. Fairways were patchy. Pace was ok, but that's about the only positive I can say other than the staff was friendly. I saw tee times here going for over $100 just a few weeks earlier, so I assumed the course was in good shape. I could not have been more wrong. If I had paid $100 to play here I would have absolutely demanded a refund before leaving. Like I said, $39 seemed like it was about $20 too high for what this course looks like right now.

Played On 08/25/2020Overall Nice Conditions
Greens are still not back yet from being punched, but everything else is in really nice shape. I enjoyed my round today as usual. I’ll be back many more times.
Harmony Golf Preserve
Played On 02/29/2020Great Conditions
Best conditions I’ve seen on this course since it first opened many years ago. I sure hope they keep up with the effort they’ve put into it. It’s a great track and deserves the care that it’s been receiving. Staff here is always friendly. My only small complaint is that it would be nice to have a small grill area to grab things from on the turn. It can be a little lengthy to try and grab a hot dog or something from the restaurant. Very impressed otherwise. We’ll be back for sure!

Played On 12/31/2019I’ve seen much better here before
Course wasn’t all that great today to be honest. Staff is super friendly, so they get 5 stars, otherwise it’s 3 stars at best. I understand that we’ve had a lot of rain lately, but if you can’t cut the greens and they’re going to play like shag carpet, the rate should be discounted to reflect that. Unfortunately it was not. This is usually a go to course for me, but after seeing it today I doubt I’ll be back for a while.
Hello,
I'm sorry that you were disappointed in our green speed after the rain we received. We would not usually discount golf unless there is ongoing maintenance or unusual damage to the course. The greens are rolling 9.5 today, which is standard for the area. We expect them to be 10-11 for the remainder of the winter. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
Thank you,

North Shore Golf Course
Played On 10/04/2019Still best value in Lake Nona
Played for $30, which easily makes it the best value in Nona. Greens are in great shape, fairways and rough were in good shape. Pace was good, but a group of 5 ended up ahead of us somehow which slowed things up a bit. Overall the pace wasn’t terrible though. This is still my go to course when looking for good conditions for a decent price.
EastWood Golf Course
Played On 11/25/2018Much improved
First time playing here in over a year. Vowed to never play it again last year because it was in almost unplayable condition at the time. After reading about the new greens I decided to give it a try again and I’m glad that I did. 17 out of 18 greens were in really great shape. Tee boxes and fairways were decent. Rough wasn’t too bad, nothing like the overgrown stuff that you were guaranteed to lose your ball in last year. Overall the conditions were pretty good for the price. I’m glad to see that the owners decided to put a little money into this course to bring it back to where it needs to be. I’ll definitely come back again.

Played On 08/20/2017Conditions aren't what they used to be
This place used to be amazing. Now, it's not even on the same level as North Shore. The biggest problem is that they still charge what they used to charge. Every fringe area was absolutely awful. As in unplayable awful. You could be 6 inches off the putting surface and be faced with what might as well be a bunker shot. Weeds everywhere in the fairway. Mixed grasses throughout the course. They've turned what used to be an Orlando gem into a subpar muni course. If you can get a round here for $20 I'd say it's probably worth it. Anything more than that and you are vastly over paying. I really hope they decide to put some money back into this course and get it back on track. It is too nice of a layout to let it get to this point.
Dear montyh4,
We thank you for your comments and want to ensure you that we putting in our utmost effort to improving the course. We have planned for the laying of 18 pallets of sod next week which we will lay in trouble spots around the course in our continuing efforts of improvement. Our maintenance crews are continuing to spray any weeds that are found. If you would like to discuss anything about your comment you may contact me at mzarbeck@eaglecreekorlando.com. We hope to see you out here again soon. If you would like to discuss anything about your comment you may contact me at mzarbeck@eaglecreekorlando.com.
Stoneybrook East Golf Course
Played On 8/19/2013Greens roll well
Overall for the $20 that I paid, I guess the value wasn't too bad. Greens aren't bad at all, but the tee boxes need some serious attention. Fairways aren't too bad, but several spots are in bad shape. The rough in lots of places isn't uniform at all, and feels more like playing out of the weeds. Again, for $20 though, I would say you pretty much get what you paid for. I would play again for that price, but nothing more.
