Thanx to GN for introducing me to Wekeiva, your typical Central Florida course winding thru diverse neighborhoods. Greens a little slow this day, but understandable due to increased February business & heat wave (85*-93* hot days). Nice staff, even let my twosome bounce half hour early & excellent pace of play.

1st: course is 100% better than couple of years ago, and owner is constantly working improvements . Greens are nice, good mix of short & long holes. Water ditch can suck up poor shots on a few holes. I, as single, paired up with a couple nice guys, played front9 in good fashion, but the back9 came to a snail's pace. Still, it was a Saturday & maybe some money games affected back9 pace. GN Hot Deals is a great value, but course is in good condition & not a consolation choice. I'll be back to redeem score, but poor chips & putting not the fault of course.

First, let me say that this day started out below 50*, so I could have sold my knit-cap for about $40 (I'm from Ohio & was prepared). Red Tail is back to where it was a 5-years ago. I like the layout, particularly the back9 & last 5 holes around a big lake. Each hole at RedTail has its own challenges, and very diverse layout. Before you even think about 2putts for par (some greens are huge & rolling), you have to navigate narrow hallways called fairways (#7&8), or hit extra club into the plateaus of greens (starting #1 & ending #18 as most all are perched higher than the fairway or level all carry shots). I like the par5s, a lot of target golf, but fun to me. Again, I was really surprised by the greens and their improvement from last time I was here (thinking the course was about to close); good sand in Bunkers; good T-boxes for variety of lengths .......its just a fun challenging layout. With big 410+yrd par4's ---like #10 & 18, par for this old guy is at least 74 (maybe I shouldn't play white Tees all around). Pro & cartgal were running a cookout at Halfway House, so that was good for a grilled sandwich or drink, and just another indication how the staff is trying to make up for a couple of lost years. Oh, I almost forgot, carts are fabulous, with comfortable seats & GPS, and the cart-guy would valet you to car & return cart to barn. Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals & I will be back, gotta redeem my score & avoid a couple DbleBogies, otherwise a very enjoyable day at RedTail.

First off ....Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals special & the best rate in town this time of year. I got teamed with a couple really nice guys, and played the front9 in speedy fashion. For some reason, play got jammed-up on the back9, along with our group having issues with lost balls & clubs. One guy left 2-clubs greenside bunker (believed to be #9), while raking his sand mess .......and never did get them back. First time playing the course, and because of a couple long par4s, par for this guy is at least 74. The greens are OK (a couple with bad spots), and the layout winds thru the neighborhoods. #17 is a cool par3, but still can't figure out what happened to my ball ......no splash, not on green, nor bunker, so it must have embedded in soft front section. I will be back, just to redeem my score & avoid a couple of DbleBogies.

1st time playing this course, which is odd for me to say; I'"ve played most every course in Orlando. I wasn't hitting ball very well, but a couple of 410yrd+ par4's turned par into 74 for this old guy. The course is OK, not immaculate, but then again rates are reasonable for this time of year (peak season here in Orlando). The greens are OK (only a couple had bad issues), fairways are tight, sand is good in the bunkers, sidelines are scrappy wetlands, all presents challenges, but the golfer has to hit the ball squarely & GiRs to score. The course weaves thru the neighborhood, and what a variety that housing is. Par3's are good holes, #17 in particular ....over water to a big tilted green, guarded by bunkers (the front one is different because it actually has a bunker-within-bunker .....a pot bunker walled up withing the confines of encompassing sand ....I should have taken a pic, never seen that before). Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals Special, and I will be back to redeem my score, avoid a couple DbleBogies and make more pars.

Unlike most Florida courses, Eagle Dunes is not flat, lot's of elevation changes .....#1 & 10 tees are awesome views. Greens are very soft, but ball rolls nicely & "fast". Yes there are bad spots, patchy spots on greens, cart tracks in muddy areas, this grass on tees, some wahed-out sand bunkers .....but the good outweighs any of that, in my opinion. Rates are great, especially for this unique course. No fairways side-by-side, every hole different, and fun. Today, #1 tee box lined up 8-carts, but pace of play was exceptional, did not wait, nor was group behind us waiting on me & my hacks. I always enjoy & recommend Eagle Dunes....and Thanx to GN for the Hot Deal rate.

It is so cool to stand on #1 & 10 tees, elevated & all downhill makes you think the drive goes 400yrds. Greens are really nice, hold the good shots & putt fast & true (you do not want downhill/downgrain putts). Pace-of-play seemed slow, but my group was only a 3some, and we didn't do any searchin' for golf balls (don't think anybody lost a ball). This course is soooo wide open, but the elevation changes, the waste bunkers, and undulating greens present challenges not common to Central Fla. It is just a fun course to play, Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals & great rate. I joined a couple of Members, and had a great time with these gentlemen (in their 70's who could shoot their age sometime). I'll be back to redeem my score on the front9, couldn't get off the Bogie Train.

Rio was crowded this day, staring with having to wait for carts to come off 18 & parking lot. Backup on many tee-boxes, which were shut down probably due to overseeding Winter rye. The tee-markers were set in front, which made for a short course, but still didn't help my score. The greens are OK, too bad players don't repair their ball marks cuz many were pitted with old marks. I, as a single, got paired with 3-others, and we had a good time, but spent plenty of time looking for balls in the trees or mushy sidelines. One thing I can attest to is the sand bunkers are pretty good, nice compacted sand & even raked (except for today's play). Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals, and I'll be back just to redeem myself on the Front9.

Rio very busy mid-day and Kudos to Starter for keeping his cool. As soon as carts came in from 18 (and parking lot delivery of clubs), they were assigned to go right back out to waiting players. Tees were backed-up and very slow play. Of course, my group didn't help any, as they were constantly searching for balls in trees, taking business cell-phone calls, talking amongst themselves, and not considering group behind us. Course played short this day, because Tees over-seeded Winter rye, so markers set out in front. Greens are OK, showing signs of a lot of play ......par3's like #12 were pitted with ball-marks. Please repair ball-marks on greens! Sand was well-kept & nice .....I can attest to that cuz it was "beach day". Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals Special, and I will be back to redeem myself, particularly on the front9 (+4 on back was good).

First time at Wedgefield, and glad I paired up with another Single who plays here regularly. This course is just my size .....a good mix of short & long holes, and generous fairways for the straight Driver. The greens have fun undulations, and would be really tough if not putting on the slow/grainy side (understandable for new rebuilt tiff-dwarf's). The ProShop Starter was very welcoming, even to this Old GolfNow player. Thanx for the great Hot Deals, and I will be back.

First time playing The Wedge, and I was pleasantly surprised. I saw reviews how this course in "on the comeback trail," but I can't compare to any past experience. The proshop attendant/starter was very pleasant & welcoming, even to this Old Hack (they can see a Hot Deal Special walking in the door). I teamed up with a really nice guy, who knew the course, and good thing too. There are a few doglegs, creeks & water hazards that he clearly pointed out. I was a good student, hit the T-ball well & didn't lose a ball. The greens were a bit slow, but then again, I could tell the new strain of tiff-dwraft that needs some growth time. There is a good mix of short & long holes (a couple of 400yd+ Par4's), but fairways are forgiving to an extent. The greens are undulating, and once they quicken up, will present a whole new challenge to this little course. I could see the constant work on the course ---#18 T-box under construction. Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals, and now that I know the course (short travel from eastern Orlando), I will be back.

Course in good shape. Yes, greens could be quicker, but looks as if they are being careful with the new grasses. This is a fun Layout, good mix of short holes with couple of 400yd+ Par4s, and lengthy Par5s; dogleds & plenty of greens' guards -- trees or sand bunkers (which have good sand & in nice shape, although rakes are needed for players to do their part). I played well, just putted poorly due to my own deficient stroke (& slow greens)......should have broken 80. Staff very pleasant & welcoming; we can tell new owner is investing in course improvements. Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals special ..... I'll be back!

I guess we were lucky to play this day, although a beautiful day following torrential rains during the night -----the sides of almost every hole wet & muddy. Carts should have had more restrictions, cuz they were making marks off the fairways. I got paired up with some nice guys, but very crowded course resulted in rather slow play. The greens were slower than usual, and approach shots had to carry onto greens ---no bounce in front. Most bunkers had more water than sand .......but Mother Nature had more to do with conditions than course maintenance. The club-house had just closed on this Monday, but I could tell the remodel job is bringing the club back up to par. I'll be back given time to dry out a little so this Old guy can play better golf.

First, it's hard to give a great review of a course after torrential rain the night before. Fairways & greens were OK, but sided were water puddles & muddy areas. Of course, most golfers take their cart to areas should have been restricted, making more of a mess. Course was crowded -- for instance 5-groups on our 10th hole as we made the turn. One thing about Rio is it's fairly easy to find wayward shots in the pines & sideboard trees (front9). I prefer the Back9, a little more fun with water hazards (pond #12 & meandering creek #14&15). I guess I just don't like the down&back cut-thru-trees layout of the Back9, but challenging because of undulating greens (also all plateaued up from fwy.). The greens were on the slow side, sand bunkers unplayable, but then again, with so much rain, we're lucky the course was open. I hadn't been to Rio since the clubhouse had been redone, and from the LockerRoom (Men's Room), I can say "Well Done". I wish I could have visited Bar, but club just closed. The Starter was good: me being a Single, fit me in with a 3some, and we had a fun afternoon. Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals, and I will be back when the course drys so at least I can get rollout from my 200yrd drives (Yes, I'm old & need all the bounces I can get).

If I could putt these spacious FAST greens, I might be able to score & break 80. The wind is always an issue, but this day from south, so playing 2,3,8,12,15,17 with helping breeze..... I parred my nemesis Hallway Hole #12. The greens are so awesome, lots-of-break to even 4'-putts. They are so huge too, I applaud anyone who goes the round without a 3putt. I hit Driver well (9or10 fwys), and fairways are really nice too, cut just right to allow ball to perch up for clean shots. The sand bunkers are well kept........but as usual, score on Sawmill is dependent on putting & windy conditions.

Course in great shape -- tee to greens, which are awesome putting surfaces. You do not want downhill putts on these, like #9 (the ball did not stop rolling past the cup from behind). Fairways are in great shape, and crew out working hard to clear leaves off the tree-lined holes 10,12,13,etc. As a single, I got paired up with good guys, so Thanx to GolfNow for the Hot Deals ......I will be back, always trying to redeem myself in an effort to break 80.

Course in great shape -- greens nice & quick, some with unbelievable breaks (depending on pin position). I had my share of 3putts; probably would have broken 80 if not for poor putting stroke or mis-reads. Ball sits up nice in fairways, and even the sand in bunkers good (just need fellow players to rake after use). Same with ball marks on greens, I probably repaired average 4/green. The par5s are really good, especially #6, 9, & 16; #17 is long/tough par3.. Thanx to GolfNow for the Hot Deals, and I joined up with another single golfer to make a very enjoyable afternoon at Pleasant Valley.

Greens fairways, even sand bunkers in excellent condition. This fun course with challenging holes: 8,9, 12, 17. I played well (for an old fat Man distance challenged), and if it weren't for a couple of 3putts, I would have broken 80. I joined another guy off. GolfNow, and we had pleasant afternoon @ PV. I do plead other players to repair ball marks, replace divots, and strive to keep this course nice 👍

Course is in great shape, just need fellow golfers to repair ball marks on greens .,....and a few scuff marks made us glad steel spikes are no longer. It's nice the range is included with the round, and I joined another 2some for enjoyable afternoon. I scored well, could have really been good, but 40-putts (no excuses of greens, just my poor jab-stroke) accounted for half my strokes. At any rate, Thanx to GN for the Hot Deals .....and I will be back.

Sawmill has some of the largest greens I have ever played, and this day had some wicked pin-placements. I have to make an excuse for a horrible day of putting, but some holes were cut on hills & slopes of these expansive greens. Greens are fast, but held incoming shots nicely; the fairways are cut nice, but the rough is very penal --thick & long grass (to the point you could lose a ball within a yard off fairway). I think those challenges added to the slow play of groups ahead ........plus there was some cutting as our group made the turn; no starter late in the day, and after a morning Outing. Drainage & sideboards have helped the Hallway Hole #12, which is still a Par6 for us old guys.
