Challenging track, but easy to navigate for the first time. Course was awesome shape for December golf and great value for the price.
It was a pleasant surprise, challenging and great putting surfaces and pace of play was perfect.
I stayed at one of the casitas onsite, perfect for a weekend golf getaway from the frozen weather up north. Fun tract.

Having golfed the valley of the sun during the summer months for the past 15 years, it is amazing the camelback staff keeps consistent high level golf despite little of no help from the monsoon in 2019.
Very challenging course and above average conditions this time of year. Bottom line, you gotta hit the shots or you will be playing from the sand, which is the main course defense. Deep traps make errant players take their medicine, wedge out to get back in play. In addition deep rough forces additional accuracy, deep as in an “easy lost ball”. This isnt a grip and rip tract, that notion is completely lost after the first couple holes and all players find themselves forced to execute carefully planned shots. Great fun for competing, I played with my sons and we enjoyed the fact that no lead was safe, and could turnaround completely at any given hole. Fun challenging tract.

Course in good shape, great pace and exclusive setting. However having played many courses in valley of the sun I felt pricing was too high for this tract. Wouldn't recommend it or play it again based solely on price. I understand it though, it is busy as is. It would be literally over run if it were more affordable. With all that said, you are paying for unique views and location more than for the course itself. So busy, very well organized and impressive flow.
