need to return soon

Course in tournament prep, everything plush, greens holding but slow, growing in and ready for the mower to punish the golfers. Did not have to touch the ball much, thick fairways. I'm sure the slick greens will return and its real toughness will rule. Out of state 9 H/c wants to return, found the course challenging. Staff helped move along slow play on the back, slow putts aided that. Fluffy bunkers. Good time.

upscale public links

Played Meadow/Lake nines, blues. Visually appealing course, narrow looking f/ways, just need a straight shot to hit the landing area. Lake 9 is a great finishing hole, needs a good drive for the 160 layup to a sloping green. Cartgirl was attentive, upscale prices. Sandwiches were very good. Staff was helpful and slotted time was held. Great value.

good condition despite weather

played North/South , weather adjustment, Crew out shoveling snow off tee/hole areas, Fairways in good condition, greens nice, holes seemed to have been cut just before the big snow, but couldn't have been. 50's temp, great day to have been able to play a course that was not water saturated. Nice move to adjust play! Putting was surprisingly smooth, not quick.

great local bargain

Had to inquire in clubhouse why all the new sand in the bunkers, new mgmnt, great improvement. Goose issues on some greens , pin placement helped with that. Stay below the hole if possible, large undulating , smooth, some frozen, greens, links style play, nicely mowed for Jan. Ball still rolled well. Money well spent. Cart paths concrete, close to greens and good for seniors.

good muni, reversed nines, new clubhouse

Nice fairways, bunkers need work, small greens on most holes. Played 18, and pace was good this day, can be slow at times. Front 9 easier than back due to woods and over hitting will cause the ball to roll into trouble. New clubhouse is at the turn now instead of at the end!

worthy experience, walkable, friendly staff and members. great shape.

1st time played, worth the trip. Large fast greens held shots. Fairways helped good drives. Played white tees front, blue back, tips for pros. Big hitters can stay on the whites, some hills are 2 clubs up to reach the green. Friendly staff and atmosphere and fine dining afterward.

challenging course in great condition.

Large greens that reward shots at the pin. Runup shots are an available option, so the holes are playable for different games. Hilly terrain makes club selection important, since some greens are actually two clubs uphill. Several blind tee shots, but others will have you trying to reach the par 4 in one. Good misses are needed on the" long" side. Played here several times, blue and white tees, loved it. 12 hdcpr
