We have loved playing Lone Tree in the past and always thought it was one of the better tracks in the valley.
Yesterday was not the case. Brown, bald spots, bare spots, cut short and tight and hard as a rock. For a valley that has gotten so much water hard to believe it was late august conditions and worst. I would pay or play again or recommend this course anytime soon.

Play PM before and it was in excellent shape. Have to say PM should be ashamed to charge that kind of money for a course in that condition. Tee boxes were horrible, some fairways in the middle had bald spots and dirt, around the edges looked like weeds growing in the field. I would not recommend or plan on attending this golf course again. I will say the only redeeming value was the greens were pretty good. do not waste your money, "even to just go out and have fun"

Course was not what I was expecting and in all likelihood
would not play it again.....Absolutely gorgeous vies and very nice community but was sad to see the condition it was in. The 17th was my favorite hole as I got a par and a put for birdie teeing off with Lee Trevino Tee area. Pace was slow, almost 5 hours.

overall for the money you won't find many courses in the east valley is as good as condition. Food at the restaurant is excellent and really inexpensive.

My wife and I have played Lone Tree numerous times and I don't think I have seen the course in worse condition than it was today 7/6/20. dried out, browning out and the greens were the absolute worst....no indication that they had been punched, no tee blocks on the front nine, no marshals, no starter....DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Course is as I remember it, Tough. Back Nine and last 6 very tough golf course and mostly all up hill and not a lot of room for spraying the ball....if your a high handicap you may not enjoy the track. Lot's of carry and more target golf than most courses. Green were absolutely perfect and rolled really nice. We were first off the my wife and I played in 3 1/2 hours.....

Lone Tree has been a gem that we found and my wife loves it......Not the toughest track you will play but you have to play your way around the course and the greens were receptive and fast! I think for all levels you will enjoy your day....we will play again and again.

First off upon arrival, no carts, extra fees, paid 20 bucks in fee's for booking online with golfnow. 20 min delay teeing off, tee times stacked up on 6-7 min intervals, 303 rounds booked for the day. Pace was so bad and the course is quite awful, bad and what ever other verb I could use....Tee Boxes bare..greens were decent.....quit after 6 due to rain. they gave us a rain check for 9 holes. I would not recommend or play this course again...71.00 green fees, I would pay 20....do not waste your money.

Course was great well groomed well marked, excellent greens. Price was great, pace was good 4hrs 20mins 6:12am tee time. There were only 2 non great comments, the pin placements were in my estimation as a 12 hdcp were challenging ......to say the least and Mr. Marshall was rude, other than that fantastic day with my Wife. Highly, Highly recommend this course.

I usely don't write bad reviews......Can't help it this time. 39.00 to play and we should of wondered why there was nobody on the tee, in the fairway.
The course is down right awful, from tee boxes to no grass in the fairways to awful greens....if that weren't enough no yardage markers and the fairways were sprayed green to give the impression of a green grassy course......I will not play that course ever again and if anyone asks I will not be nice to the course. Do not waste your money.

Course was magnificent, great shape, great surroundings.....3 1/2 hr round....fantastic....
will be back for more and try the links course.

When you drive in see the clubhouse and surrounding area, putting green you think it's going to be a nice experience......It really wasn't....if you venture anywhere off the fairway really not very good, the greens are decent in most cases, lot's of bunkers.. I would rather pay 10-20 dollars more some where else for a nicer course, this pic on the review is so far from what the course really looks like....disappointed, only played 8 holes paid for 18.

Um first time playing the course.....it is definitely a Muni Course. Greens were ok and if you were in the fairway narrow but ok....off the fairway was not good. I would not play this course again for any price even free unless there was not other course and even then not sure I would.
