Played On 07/30/2021I love the layout. Greens have improved but still not great. Fairways are being sodded and several holes are playing as par 3's because they are still working on them. You have to sometimes move the ball to a spot where grass is off bare spot. It's still playable but not at those prices.

I love the layout and the folks I play with out there all the time.. But a lot of bare spots in fairways due to the freeze. Greens are slightly sandy and a bit slower than usual.

Bridges - The Masters at Firewheel Golf of Garland

This has 27 holes. I love Champions and Traditions is ok but I don't like the Masters course. It's too hard for the average player. Problem is only 2 of the nines are open at anytime and you don't know which ones. I will call in advance and make sure which ones it is. I don't want to play Masters again. The rough was challenging also.

It has a lot of good views with a slight elevation change. The par 3's are really tough(long). There aren't many easy holes. I want to come back because I think I can do better than the 91.The course was in excellent condition.

Heritage Ranch Golf and Country Club

I really like the layout of the course. We usually play white tees at most courses as we did here. It was around 6500 yds. A little long from those tees for us over 70. Next time I will move up a tee or so. Great course conditions. Very friendly staff everywhere. Clubhouse and amenities upscale from most facilities. We found a deal for $42. Great value for that. I want to go back.
The Golf Club at McKinney
Played On 10/17/2013probably a little too challenging for the average player.
It is overall tight with a couple of very tight/narrow ones. The greens were very fast and large and undelating. We had trouble with speed and large breaks you didn't see. I liked several holes but it's tough.
