Golf Club at Vistoso
Played On 02/05/2016Personel problems
We had been following a group of four and waiting a little while on each tee box for them to clear the fairway or the green. Pace of play was normal until we reached the 6th tee box when this grouchy pruned face ranger told us to keep up with the group ahead of us. The group ahead of us was still in the middle of the fairway. We caught the group ahead of us on the next tee box waiting for the group ahead of them. I Asked them if Mr. Grench had warned them, and they said no. This didn't set to well with our group. Our group and our friends will not be stepping foot on this course again.
Fred Enke Golf Course
Played On 01/09/2016Enjoy playing this course because it is quite different than what We play at home.
This course is challenging, but also has a few holes that are easier than others. Enjoy the scenery and the greens. The only thing that could make it better is if the cart paths were smoother.

I have played many courses in the Tucson area and this is by far the best course I've ever played. The views are breathtaking and the course is challenging. Would recommend it to my friends and am looking forward to my next round there.

We enjoyed playing this course. It had some beautiful views and the fairways and greens were in wonderful condition. Only drawback was that they had snow a few days earlier, and it was cart paths only. Understand why they had this stipulation, but it took longer to play.
Dear VKMorgan,
You are not alone. I have played this course several times, this has occurred to me on several occasions. Last time our group was in the middle of the fairway awaiting the green to clear. There was not a group within a hole behind us, but I was told we'd have to pick up and move to the next hole. Needless to say, my response was less than probably appropriate to Mr. Ranger - especially since we were waiting to hit.
