Great Course - Par 3s are awesome!

Our group played the course for the 1st time. Very generous landing areas off the tee. The greens are big and many have swells/humps in them which makes them very challenging. We played from the blue tees and there were some lengthy holes and some shorter ones. There were a couple of greens that were a little ugly and they weren't extremely speedy, but overall were very good. The fairways were in great shape. The bunkers were a little inconsistent......some had nice fluffy sand and others had hard packed mud. The food was good in the grill. I would absolutely play again. The par 3s were really good holes!!

Make sure you have BUG SPRAY. The sand gnats around the practice areas were TERRIBLE!! The pro shop did not have any bug spray to buy. Once on the course the bugs weren't bad.

Marsh holes were awesome!

GREAT course!! The holes out in the marsh are really cool!!! the greens were in good shape and were fast but not overly fast. Saw some cool wildlife on the course too. We played from the back tees and it was a very fair test. Couple holes were blind and it would have helped to have a picture on the scorecard or to know that a pond was hidden behind a bunker. Nice practice area and putting green. Starters and cart guys were very friendly. I don't remember seeing a beverage cart during our round so make sure to stock up on supplies before you tee off or at the turn.

Sea Palms

We played the 18 hole regular course. Overpriced for what it is. Course overall, was in good shape. Fun course with some neat holes. Greens were average/above average......but not very fast. Fairways were spotty on some holes. The 3 finishing holes are really good.....especially the last hole. Our group almost missed our tee time because of the restaraunt/grill. What a fiasco...servers messing up orders...forgetting orders and overcharging! Do not eat here. We ended up teeing off about 3:30 on Saturday and the course was very busy, however there was no beverage cart. So plan accordingly. Pace of play was good.

Watch out for Wind

We played on a very windy day and it was very tough. I have never seen tee boxes as immaculately maintained as these. They are as good as some greens that I play. The greens were very fast but very true!!! Fairways were awesome. Practice area was very nice. Can be very penal if you misshit the ball. Fairways dont have lot of rough so wayward shots will get wet. There are several holes where you choose how much of the marsh to carry.....be conservative and safe. Some of the greens have shaved areas so chips can come back to your feet. Our group had never played the course and there were some shots that were a little blind. Would be helpful to take a 4caddie if possible. Staff is super friendly!! GREAT COURSE!!!
