Fantastic course with great friendly staff, from pro shop to the bar. Course isn't big in yardage and some holes your playing over some greens but don't let that disappoint you, truly superb in layout and condition. If it was 15 miles nearer home, it would be my main course membership, can't wait to play again... As I said, fantastic!

Give it twenty years and this might be a decent course but presently and from past rounds this course does not do anything for my golfing mojo. Not taking anything away from the clubhouse or the lodges which have received a massive investment.....the course is a massive letdown and the fact that two obnoxious members and rather less than mediocre skilled golfers may I add, not have the decency to let a few 1 balls through kinda typifies the course......Avoid even if on a cheapy £10 afternoon tee time

I have played this course no end of times and never once been disappointed with the quality of the Tees/Fairways/Greens they are always immaculate throughout the year.......However the rough is a pain in the A@$€ and if you aren't accurate off the tee you can pretty much kiss goodbye to getting par or better. I also believe this course only to be bettered by Woodhall Spa golf course within the Lincolnshire area. The only slight negative would be the near £1000 yearly membership, if it wasn't for that I'd have joined years ago.
