Hyatt Hills Golf Complex
Played On 05/11/20196 hrs and 6 min 18 holes
Avoid this cars on the weekend at all cost. We had an 8:52 a.m. key time and walked off the 18th green at 2:58 p.m. for a total of 6 hours and 6 minutes. We waited on every single hole, on the par 3 seventh hole we waited 32 minutes on the front and 25 minutes on the back. It doesn't matter what the cost of the round was when a round takes over 6 hours. There were for group's on the 1st tee Box when we came off the 9th hole. There was no starter organizing the people going off one and the people coming after 9. We waited 30 minutes, 3 groups went in front of us before we went off on the 1st hole which would have been our 10th hole. The group in front of us on the front 9 went directly to the starter after finishing the 9th hole by the time they got up to the 1st tee Box there were 7 groups in front of them, they quit. The only thing this court is good for is 9 holes on a week day. It is terribly Organized and horribly slow.
Crooked Cat at Orange County National
Played On 01/21/2017One of the top Orlando golf courses
We've been going on a golf trip to Florida for the last two years this year we decided to go to Orlando. We played both cookie cat and panther the lake at the Orange County National Golf Course. Both courses were pristine, challenging and great value for your money. We played crooked cat first and got to pay the $50 replay for Panther Lake. So it came out to about $75 a round. Both crooked cat and panther Lake should be on your list if you're going to Orlando for a girls trip.
Mission Inn Resort & Club - Las Colinas Course
Played On 01/20/2017Good course but nothing special
We've been going to Florida for a three to four day golf trip for the last few years. On our second day we played the two Mission Inn golf courses Las Colinas and El campeon. Las Colinas was a good course, in good shape and decent value for your money but it's nowhere near the quality of El campeon. We decided to play El campeon and then play the replay at Los Colinas. If I had the chance to do it over again I would have played el campeon twice. Unfortunately for Las Colinas it is one of two corses at Mission Inn and the other one being one of the best courses in the country. If you decide to go to Mission inn play El campeon and if you decide to play twice in a day play it twice, you won't be missing anything at Las Colinas.
Mission Inn Resort & Club - El Campeon Course
Played On 01/20/2017One of the best I ever played
We've been going to Florida for the last few years for a three to four day golf trip. This year we decided to go to Orlando and Mission Inn El campeon course was definitely one we had on the list. This course was above and beyond all my expectations and absolutely excellent value. We played courses on our trip that were twice as much and not nearly as nice. I have played courses like TPC Sawgrass, Bethpage Black and I would put El campeon right up there with those. This is a must play if you're going to Orlando for a golf trip. On top of being one of the greatest courses I have ever played the replay cost was $35. We had planned to play a different course the last day of our trip but we like El campeon so much we cancelled that tee time and went back to play it again.
Grand Cypress - North/South
Played On 01/19/2017High quality course
We have been going to Florida for a golf trip for the last 3 to 4 years. The first course on our list this year was Grand Cypress North South course. Is a very nice resort course but it wasn't one of the top three we played on our trip. It was a very good course that I would play again but I found other courses better such as El campeon Mission Inn crooked cat orange National and Panther Lake orange National. But all 3of the courses I just listed were less expensive than Grand Cypress and better quality. Now it is a very very good course but it just went up against some of the best I've ever played. If you're going to Orlando for a week and want to play a bunch of courses it's definitely one I would put on the list but I would certainly go to the three I listed above first. You will not be disappointed but unfortunately for it it has a lot of competition as Orlando has some of the best golf courses in the country.
Panther Lake at Orange County National
Played On 01/14/2017One of the top Orlando golf courses
We've been going on a three to four day golf trip in Florida for the last few years. This year we decided to go to Orlando we played both Crooked cat and Panther lake at the Orange County National Golf Course both courses were absolutely excellent. Out of the two courses I preferred Panther Lake but you couldn't go wrong with either one. The course was pristine condition challenging and a good value for your money. This is a must play if you're going to an a trip to Orlando for golf.
IMG Academy Golf Club
Played On 01/16/2016Average Course, nice staff
The course was in a bit of rough shape, sand traps flowing over onto course and the greens were dry. The course was overall average. If in Sarasota area was play University or Esplande which are on same level price wise but much better quality. IMG was better than Waterlefe.
