Reasonable prices, course in very good shape, cart was clean and pro shop always friendly. Only problem and this is a consistent one with Lancaster: pace of play problems on the back nine. They would really benefit everyone if they had a ranger on the back nine to move slower groups along.

Greens in bad shape as they seemed to have lost many to disease. But some tee boxes were also rough and that seemed like poor management of the course. Very nice people who were apologetic about the conditions.

Course is in good shape but invariably there are one or two extremely slow groups on the course with no ranger to push them. Whole place backs up badly starting on 13. I think I've walked off without playing 18 3-4 times this year. Place is still a great value .

Tee box, fairways and greens were all in good shape. The sand traps on the other hand remain so bad there is little point of trying to even play out of them. Construction sand and red clay with animal burrows is so out of character with the rest of the course. Suggestion : change half the bunkers to grass bunkers to reduce the # of sand bunkers that need to be maintained.

Course has recovered nicely from the October floods - looks like the 3 temp greens will be gone soon. Nice views, fair layout. One problem is the rough - way too high. I watched people all day spend 5 - 8 minutes trying to find balls just feet into the rough. Really slows up the course for everyone. A local I played with said it's always that way, that the course is known for sucking up golf balls.
