Have played this course many times over the years we've visited Florida and this year its the best we've seen the course.. greens are as good as anywhere else. Most fairways have plenty grass although a few are poor immediately in front of the tee. Teeing grounds need improvement but we look forward to more improvement next time we're here

Fairways excellent, greens showing signs of excessive play but still quick and true. Some teeing areas also showing signs of excessive wear. Still a great course to play and we'll come every time we're here from the UK

Generally good value. Greens the best I've seen them. Quick and true. Fairways with mostly plenty of grass but the occasional bare untidy patch.
The only poor aspect are the tee boxes which are often bare and sandy with little grass, having said that we will be returning in the near future.

A great layout with some interesting holes and good par 3s. Greens in good condition fairly quick and true. Fairways need work. Too many bare lies. A fairly friendly course with little trouble for those who play military golf.

Superb layout, fairways in great condition and superfast true greens. All in all a great experience.

We liked the holes, some of which are very testing but there are some very long drives from green to next tee, so long in fact that it's apparently nine miles around the course. The new owners have started renovations but the bunkers are in many cases unplayable. It'll be some years before it's up to an acceptable standard but has promise.

We love the layout, not having to drive around between villas and across roads is a bonus. It's a proper golf course. The down side is that despite the course having been close while greens were rebuilt they are slow and some are showing signs of stress around the edges already, and many tee boxes are in very poor condition with little grass. I doubt we'll play there again

We've played Waterlefe every year since the first month after it opened, every time we come from the UK. We even rent in the Waterlefe community now since 2012.
As ever the course is immaculate with quick, true greens and really challenging holes. Nos 7,8 10,14,and 15 are stand out holes. I'll keep coming and playing until I can no longer swing a club.

We have played this course many times over many years of visiting the area. We always love the layout and usually the course is in good condition with great greens. On this occasion however the overall condition was poor.. Many poor tee boxes and some patchy and Wooley greens with inconsistent speeds. The greens had obviously been recently aerated and had almost recovered so perhaps this excused their slow pace. Normally they've been quick and true.
Would we play there again? Deffinately.

Have here played twice in the last 10 days. Pace of play great both times. Today we were around in 3hrs 10mins. Greens are quick and true and there are some challenging holes. The young assistant pro put us off the 10th to start as a couple of footballs had just gone off the 1st and we were a twoball. I like that consideration.
A great golf course ranking alongside Waterlefe.

Great weather made this great course even better and the pace of play was 3hrs 20mins for the round. Caught a 4 ball up on no 15 but only held up for a few minutes on 16, 17 and 18. The greens were quick and true.

Probably the best and toughest course in the area. We played on an afternoon with a bad forecast and had the course to ourselves. Millionaires golf. Just over 3 hour round and the course in great condition. Light shower on one hole. We really got away with one there.

Have played Waterlefe every time we come to Florida.ie May and October for years. We first played six months after it opened and have played every year since It's always in superb condition with fast greens even today after tining and top dressing. There are some really great holes. 2, 6, 7.8,10, 14 and 15 come to mind but all are good. Pace of play was 3 hrs 40 mins and that was with some waiting as a two ball behind a three.

Unfortunately the above scores are based on previous play as I had today's round due to regular heavy rain showers following hurricane Michael. Also as it was a hot deal booking and the course remained open I doubt I'll get a refund so won't be using golf now again. Presumably they expect you to get a soaking even though the wind and rain was pretty extreme.

The only thing which stops this being a five star course is the state of the tee boxes. They've obviously suffered from dry conditions last winter and work is under way to repair them but I've not seen them in such poor condition and I've played here since the first month it opened. Hope they can cure them but they met need returfing

Played as a two ball in just over 3 hrs. That's a first and we've been playing here every year since it opened. Normally expect around 4 hrs. Greens are the best we've played, 10 or 11 on the stimp.
Tee boxes have suffered in the dry season but this is being addressed now. Fairways have good grass but there are a number of small patches on a couple of fairways which give the impression of old sand crane damage. Overall a great experience and we'll play every time we visit Florida although it'd significantlypte expensive off season this year.

A really great course, wide fairways in the main so one can have a real swing at the driver. Fairways hard but plenty of grass. The greens were quoted as running at 11 and I can believe it, absolutely rocket fast but true. Anything downhill needed great care. Just one silly par three on the back nine which doesn't need the bunker in front, it's difficult enough without that.

Have played here every time we holiday on the gulf coast which is May & June each year for the last 20 years. Greens are great since they were rebuilt a couple of years ago. Tee boxes have suffered from the dry winter period and some fairways have some odd grasses and burnt areas but overall it's a great golf course, very fair except perhaps for the 11th par 5. Take a camera if you are a wildlife fan as there are white tail deer on the course plus the obligatory alligators, bald eagles and much more. We'll be playing there again during this stay

A cracking course which is apparently going to be supplemented with another 18 holes. It's a new course and fairway and greens condition is superb, greens at 10 on the stimp. Pace of play will never be great as there a number of long travels between green and next tee. The 4 star rating for course layout reflects this and the fact that there are a couple of silly greens with extreme slopes which are totally ridiculous and mean that part of the green is totally useless. Nevertheless we'll play there again until as with so many other courses it becomes fully private.

27 holes in the best condition anyone would want. Each nine has some friendly holes and one or two good tests. The signature par three on the first nine is spectacular and if one pulls their drive left of centre on hole nine the second shot to the green is around 185 yds carry over water to the green. A great course but fair and in great condition. A well stocked pro shop but don't take your wife or you'll never get out of there unscathed.
