Grand Canyon University Golf Course
Played On 11/28/2017Nice course - slow pace of play
Very nice layout with variety of holes. Fairways in great condition. Greens were good and reasonably fast but 3/4 greens had some dead spots that need attention. If not for the pace of play from 9th to 18th it would have been a fantastic day of golf. Lots of bunkers in fairways and greens that were very frustrating because they need more sand (hardpacked sand is hard to hit out of). Fix the bunkers, repair the greens and keep people moving would make this a 5 star.
Coldwater Golf Club
Played On 11/15/2017Great Value
Golfnow rate was excellent value. Played mid week early afternoon and round was 4 hrs. Fairways were in excellent condition. Teeboxes were also excellent.(green and flat). Greens a little slow due to overseeding but compared to other courses in the area were great. Greens also had some undulations so some challenge depending on pin placement. Golf carts were newer and electric. Overall enjoyed the layout and found that this is one of the better courses in the peoria area.
Peoria Pines Golf Club

fairways poor shape. course needs some investment. too many other better courses in area for same price.
Calerin Golf Course
Played On 10/07/2016good nine hole
like other reviewers have said the nine can be played from different teeboxes to minimize the repetitiveness of playing same nine twice. Layout is good and there was lot variety in the nine holes. good value for money. Pace of play was slow however having to wait at every teebox and this was midweek.
King's Forest Golf Course
Played On 08/07/2015Slow pace and getting run down
This is a city course that has a lot of potential but unfortunately is getting run down. Back nine is much better than front in terms of shape and variety. But the real downer for us was pace of play. Waiting on every teebox for 5-8 min really ruins a round of golf. We played on a friday early afternoon and did not see one marshall anywhere on the course. Greens were not bad but slow. Fairways need a lot of work. No or very few cart paths. Proshop and clubhouse really run down. Overall recommend u spend your money elsewhere. Too bad because it has enormous potential.
Oakville Executive Golf Course - Mystic Ridge
Played On 07/16/2015Great course to work on short game
Short executive. There are two par 5s that play as long par 4s. Excellent value when get a hot deal to work on your iron and short game. Pace of play weekday afternoons is great (3 hrs or less). Greens are in good shape but are very slow.
Carlisle Golf and Country Club - East/South
Played On 06/10/2014good value
Course in in good shape - some winter green damage but less than most in the area. Lots sand around greens. Solid value for GTA
Millcroft Golf Club
Played On 06/04/2014good value
Compared to a lot of other courses in this area this year, greens were in good shape. Fairways had more winter damage however. Pace of play was excellent but it was mid week. This course is built around a subdivison so you need to hit straight off tee boxes.
Dragon's Fire Golf Club
Played On 05/24/2014greens good for this time year - nice challenging layout
greens had been aerated about a week prior so a little slow and bumpy. But compared to other local courses who have damaged greens they are good. I always enjoy this course for number reasons - pace play usually good, nice variety of hole layouts, challenging greens, and a good walking course.
Lowville Golf Club
Played On 05/19/2014greens damaged - wait until greens are repaired
greens suffered lot of winter damage. Three temporary greens and rest all have damage that makes putting difficult. Other than that, course is good . Just wait until summer when greens get in better shape.
