Beachwood Golf Club
Played On 05/30/2021Course needs a makeover
This is an older Myrtle Beach course which could use a facelift. The greens were aerated recently. They topped the greens with sand..a lot of sand…so much sand people drew pictures in it. Ruined the day putting. Price was inexpensive at $35 plus fees so you get what yo pay for. Nothing wrong with course layout. We moved as well thru nine holes then the back nine was slow. There had not been much rain here in Myrtle so the fairways were dried out.
If you want to get an inexpensive round in to work on your game then this may be your place.
Morgan Hill Golf Course
Played On 07/31/2018Challenging Course
Zipped around 18 alone in 2.5 hrs. Some tees have blight. No tee boxes on 13 due to blight. Had to hit off the fairway. Greens were in good shape. Fairways no issues. The course layout is not easy. Not made for high hcp players. I have a 10 hcp and this course keeps me honest. Starter was very friendly and explained the golf menu of the day for the course. I had paid Golf Now online for a hot tee time. I like it here. You have got to make shots. Greens were quick on most holes. Do not be above the hole. Good luck!
Good to hear you enjoyed the course and had a quick round of golf. Look forward to seeing you in the near future.
Bella Vista Golf Course
Played On 06/26/2018Belle Vista is challenging
Our foursome played at Belle Vista on Tuesday 6/26. To my great surprise it was not crowded at all. We moved within 4 hrs around the course with two high handicapped golfers. Staff is more than friendly. GPS on carts. Greens were true and quick on that day. Topsail had adequate sand in them. I was in enough of them. The laying is challenging but a couple of birdies makes it conquerable. Pricing for seniors.was $40 with cart. Enjoy.
Rolling Hills Golf Course
Played On 03/23/2017Testy Short Golf Course
I played here to get my short game in better shape. You can use your driver on a few holes but the three wood is the club to use to get into good position. This course comes down to short iron shots, chipping and putting. Greens are good but moderate speed. Traps are average. Tees and fairways were in very good shape. I plan on playing here again next week. To score you must chip and putt. Par 64 course. Price is very reasonable from Golf Now. Have fun.
Preserve Golf Course
Played On 03/20/2017Beautiful Course
I guess it may be true if you have a good round you will rate the course high. I did have a good round but I would rate this course highly anyway. Well kept in all areas. Holes offered many different challenges which made you think about what club to use. The par 3's were fantastic using elevated tees over terrain hitting to large greens. The greens rolled slower to me than the practice putting green. I also felt I could use a shorter iron to get further distance which I did. Arizona air I presume. Highly recommend trying this course. GN has a special rate after 3PM which is terrific.
Quarry Pines Golf Club
Played On 03/15/2017Enjoyable golf course
Everything was fine here. Mildly slow but expected. You can play many holes without a driver. Several par 4's you need to lay up due to hazards. Greens were slower than other area courses. Fair lady tees for women. My wife got into good position to score. Staff is very friendly. Water throughout the course. This course makes you select positions off the T.
Forty-Niner Country Club
Played On 03/09/2017Average Desert Course
This is not a good or bad course..just average. Layout was nothing special. Greens were good. Tee boxes were good. Pace of play was slow. 4.5 hrs for the round on this weekday. You will need to stay in the fairway. There is no grass off of it. Not an expensive course but you get what you pay for.
MountainView Country Club
Played On 03/06/2017Good Course to Play
When you play to your handicap you should be happy. I am with only two xceptions. There were two wastelands (ditches) on two different holes not marked. It was my first time playing the course. Without the holes being marked or sign showing the hazard how would you know? Yes I drove into both hazards. Multiple tee boxes to hit from. Ladies tee boxes up far for the women. Greens are fast downhill. Stay below the hole. Reasonably challenging layout. You can score well here. Fairways are marked well. Good place to enjoy a round.
Crooked Tree Golf Course
Played On 03/03/2017Decent Course for All Handicaps
My wife and I had an enjoyable round here. The greens are quick but read true. The fairways were on the hard side..ball rolls well when driving. Out of bounds only really comes into play for the high handicap golfer. You can use 3 woods off a number of tees. You want to stay below the hole on the greens. Sand traps are hard. The course will challenge you for players of all levels. Pace of play was average. Slightly over a 4 hour round.
Morgan Hill Golf Course
Played On 12/28/2016Tough Course
I received a great price from Golf Now.
I am an 11 handicap and I enjoy this course. You must work hard at Morgan Hill to get par's and birdies. The placement of the your Tee shot is critical and sets up the next shot. Bad tee shots result into as high score.
I found the fairways are hilly. Flat shots come at a premium. The greens are large and challenging but fair. I am a senior golfer but still play decently.
Enjoy this course. Challenging. Bring your "A" game.
Bethlehem Golf Club - Executive Nine
Played On 12/14/2016Enjoyed the Course
Well, I played on a cold day in December and I was the only moron on the course. I enjoyed the round. I did observe a few things while I played. The pace of play could get slow here due to the exiting layout on many holes. The cart paths were bumpy. They may maintenance them when the weather permits.
Good course in that there were a number of holes that were not just bomb the Drive then 7-8 iron in. The greens articulate and are challenging even for the best putter.
The Golf Now price was great. I will try this course in warmer weather.
Ambassador at Hickory Valley Golf Club
Played On 11/04/2016Neat course
This is not a special course. It is a good public course. I joined up with three other golfers and we had a good time. There are many doglegs on the Ambassador course. Greens were well taken care of. Fairways were in very good shape. Not an overly difficult course but it is tight on some holes. Water comes into play on several holes. For $25 this was well worth it.
Mainland Golf Course
Played On 10/25/2016Basic Public Course
This is a decent public course. I have no complaints. The second hole is a quirky dogleg right. I would not say the course is overly difficult. I am a 12 handicap. I hit my 3 wood off most of the tees. I had a shot getting on any par 4 in regulation. Everyone who works there was friendly. I will continue to play here.
Bella Vista Golf Course

You need to be on your "A" game. I am an 11 handicap. This course has many holes that will test your game. The island par 3 is great.
