I have played this course for my annual winter stay in Ponce Inlet. Once a year in February for last 7 years. The first two years the course was in excellent shape. The next 4 years it got progressively worse. Maintenance has drastically improved and it is very near what it was 7 years ago. Greens were firm and fast and putted well with few bumps. I’m happy to see this course nearly back to where it should be. This used to be one of the finest public courses around the Daytona area and is now nearly back!! Layout excellent with over 100 traps. All very large. Also, has hills and water. Hills fairly unusual for this area. Well worth playing.

This is an excellent challenge and great layout. I have played this every February for ther last 4 years. It has been in much better condition Greens were in average shape but very slow. Fairways ok. Traps in good shape and there are plenty. You will need to play winter rules in fairway.Pace of play was slow front nine and great on back nine as the group in front of quit after 9. Thank goodness they had two open holes in front of them. After they quit we never saw another group.

Played Jones course. Always in good shape fairways and greens very good. Jones course more of links course while Hills course more parkland. Prefer Hills course layout but both are in very good condition and enjoyable to play. Only downside is some occasional very slow play. Better tee off before 1:30 to insure you finish.

Too slow. Greens were a bit severe, slop,, tricked up. We're slow as well. Condition not bad. The Hills course was much better.

Excellent layout with beautiful well placed bunkering. Greens have some slope and mounds...fairly fast. Greens in good shape but fairways need spring weather. Fairways were the only negative but still very playable. Tough golf course so bring your A game. Will definitely play this gem again.

Hills course much tighter than Jones but still have plenty of room to land in fairway. Plenty of trees and water comes in play on several holes. In great condition from tees to greens. Greens seemed to be a little faster and tougher than Jones course. Overall, I liked the Hills course more tha Jones but both very good courses.

Very generous fairways in great condition. Greens in excellent shape and good speed. All bunkers in great shape. Very nice practice facility. Will play again. Only downside...a tad bit slow.

Very good condition for fairways and greens. Layout very nice. A tad bit too wet in some fairways but still very playable. Sand traps suck. Many full of water. Good range. Overall would play again.

Fairways in poor shape, greens about as bad, driving range is sand, not worth playing even at $20. Finally quit after 13 holes. Would not recommend playing this course. A gorgeous day in February was the only redeeming quality of the day.
