back nine was being aerated, played the front from the blues then whites, greens aerated about a week ago, excellent work in bringing them back to good/excellent condition in that time period. next time i visit the Charolette area I will definitely play this course again, can't wait to see the back 9 layout. this course has great elevation changes for this area.

initially i thought it was a bit rough for the price, but play a few holes and you quickly forget a very few patches of red clay, and you focus on the beautiful and challenging lay-out. More altitude changes than any i have previously played, lots of blind shots, great pace of play-Great time!

played this course a few times,since it re-opened about 3 years ago, slow steady improvement, but still pretty rough. layout and scenery are great, poor reception with resentment for booking hot deal by club house, "you know we don't get anything when you book that way?" We play this course for variety and an inexpensive day on the course, and try not to let the personnel or lack of distance markers, rough fairways ruin our day- focus on the good.

driving through the mountains and decided we had a few extra hours, checked 'hot deals' and found this one near our destination, WOW!! what a great course, you name an aspect of a good course-this one is excellent in that category. can not wait to be 'passing through' again.

have played this course many times, was getting better for the last couple of years after a prolonged closure, seems like it is slipping back down again, hopefully they will have the money to spruce up in the next few weeks

just a perfect day!!! conditions were perfect, fairways, tee boxes, and especially the greens were top notch. took the free ferry over to Savannah after the round and had a great dinner at Tubby's.

played a few years ago when my wife was just learning, not likely to return.

played here many times, consistent course maintenance, greens very nice for the time of year

very scenic course. tee boxes in need of repair, fairways need divot repair-- other than that a very beautiful lay-out, setting and despite all my 3 putts, I enjoyed the greens-gave me more respect for the greens the pros putt on. most of the maintenance issues are surely related to it being off season. over all a magnificent course.

played in the cold and wind (20 or better), but probably the most picturesque course I have ever played, will return in better weather.

course is in great shape for the time of year, greens a bit faster than most in the area, thoroughly enjoy it each time we play here

played this course a couple of years ago, was a little rough around the edges (right after the real estate bust), so the development was pretty stagnant in the initial phase. someone new bought it we heard, so we decided to try again- and were pleased with the exception of the pace of play- could use an aggressive marshal.

we got a great discount, course is truly one of the most beautiful I have played, unfortunately the greens had been sanded a couple of weeks ago and were still pretty 'rough', will play it again in a few weeks.

wide fairways, plenty of water, greens in really good shape for the time of year, a great deal, a great day!

Evidently the course has just changed hands, no cart girl, confusing without proper signage, cart paths a little rough. overall a nice old country club course that has been too long between face lifts.

in the top 5 courses I have ever played, for condition, layout, facilities and staff. can't wait to get anther try at #7 now that I know what it looks like.

From the practice facility to the club barman, a really nice golf course, with just enough challenge to keep you coming back year after year.

we are locals, we play this course in the spring and late fall to winter. Fairways dry up in the summer and the greens deteriorate, somewhat narrow fairways, smallish greens. all in all a good value at the right times of the year.
