After a day of playing in the rain and an unexpected fog delay the day before, it was nice to wake up to the sun was shinning. Was greeted by a very friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Still shocked by the rates for 18 holes of play this time of year, was matched up with a 3 some of about equal skill level. Thought the course would be more challenging, but did enjoy myself. Greens were in good shape after all the rain they had received the previous week.

Had an unexpected 1.2 hour fog delay, it gave me a chance to try the food in the restaurant which was pretty good. Once we were allowed to tee up and play, the pace was pretty good. Fairways were soft and you didn't get much roll, greens were in excellent shape considering the amount of rain they've gotten.

It's a bit of a drive to get to, but will always put Southern Dunes on my play list when in Phoenix.

Was lightly raining and guess that keeps people in Phoenix from playing, was a typical Seattle winter morning. So I had the course to myself, nice resort course. Played in about 3 hours, course was in excellent condition despite the rain. Would bring my buddies that don't play regularly back for a round.
