Staff helpful and worked me into a group of other players. Some of the greens were sandy. Fairways were good. It’s been really dry here so all courses are fighting it.
Robson Ranch Golf Club

Course if in good shape but don't play when winds above 20 mph are forecast. Lots of blowing dust coming off fields and across I-10. No beverage cart.

Very good course for the money. Overseeding in process and the green are very sandy, therefore slow.
Bear Creek Golf Complex - Bear Course

Fairways and greens are very good condition. Greens are a bit challenging to read and are somewhat fast but roll true.
Apache Stronghold Golf Course
Played On 10/20/2013Challenging and not crowded
Greens are in very good condition, fairways are a bit rough, but not bad and fairly open. Some wet areas on the fairways need to be avoided with carts and balls will plug in these areas. Markings on the course between holes is a bit lacking, but getting lost isn't an issue. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
